I have a dilemma ladies. I bought a half case of champers today in Mr T's (half price plus wine discount so it had to be a bargain right?) The six bottles are sitting there winking at me in the little nook thing in my hallway. Should I open one tonight or not?
Hmmmmm
Hmmmmm
Blow it, I will, after all, it might be rubbish so I'll have time to take it back and buy something else :rotfl:I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Soappie. Im working tomorrow till Tuesday morning then back in Boxing Day which will be lovely with the ladies. It wasnt the ladies who were up last night I just could not get settled. Then the wind woke me so got up at 5.30am. DD and I have just sorted out our agenda and what we are doing. Off to do decorations then catch up with some more thread later.0

soappie - like your logic re the champers
Not much happened here this afternoon, started ironing had to stop fairly quickly as the wind has blown over the fence - its on its last legs but we need something to stop the dog escaping - emergency repairs made which fingers crossed will last until the new year.
DD2 in the bath so going to check out what bits i still have stashed throughout the house and then do some more wrapping this evening.0 -
You're all steaming ahead and I am barely started. Things will get done this evening no matter what.
jjef fingers crossed the emergency fix stays up for now!
soappie, have a glass for me, actually, I might crack open a bottle of something tonight
RANT ALERT!!***
I've just had a discussion with DP which turned into him snapping at me. I asked if he could do LR with boys help while I sorted laundry so he snapped and said 'well you invited people over' like I said friends over is irrelevant, the house is a pit, I spent 10 hours while ill 2 weekends ago for everyone to dump crap everywhere which has annoyed me so much. I asked everyone just to clean up after themselves so I could keep on top of cleaning without having to do it around crap that's been dumped, but they couldn't manage that! DS1 helped clear his corner pit of manky cans and cups, he's so lazy at the minute it's upsetting me a lot. He walks back to the kitchen for another can or cup but doesn't take the previous one with him, really irritating. Like today I am expected to just drop everything I have to do because he needs something but when I ask for help with OUR house, he snaps at me, which then makes me feel awful for asking but there isn't just me lives here. I wouldn't mind if everyone else just cleaned up after themselves but they don't!
Rant Over ** Sorry needed that.
Ok tonight what will get done is
Living room - complete blitz, clean everything included, hopefully with a bit of help
Laundry - everything that is dry put away, all dirty found and downstairs
Seems like a small list but I think that's a good 3-4 hours worth without helpOne day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
soappie love your logic with the champers.....LOL - enjoy it!

Awww, Lil-me - big hugs... DS used to be like that - I'd find all manner of crockery in his room. I nagged and nagged and what does he do now? He brings a cup from the bedroom and puts it on the kitchen table "because he doesn't know if the stuff in the DW is clean or dirty" before getting another one. But, I guess it's progress when the crockery actually appears back in the kitchen...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
