Thanks for answering my query, i never think to google anything and i was prompted to google the song"would you like to swing on a star" as i couldn't rememeber the programme, and just found out it was "out of the world", and the song was sung by Bing Crosby!!!
I have only been on the net since earlier this year and don't think to use it for looking up info, it's pretty cool, isn't it, (or am i just sad?..).....actually, don't answer that!!!

Well I now have cards hung upon four hangers and there are STILL some left. What I really need to do is sort out a mega list for Mon/Tues/Weds cos I have done very little today. On the plus side the kids pressies are almost all wrapped.
And I have long fluttery eyelashes lol - they are on offer at Boots - just something to boost my short blond stubby ones...Have had em on all day as it is many a long year since I wore 'em. DD hasn't noticed...

    Hi

Just a quick post to apologise for not being with you for a few days again. I hope everyone is ok and not suffering too many stresses.

Had 2 days off together with OH before he went back to work again yesterday. He now has 6x12 hour day shifts to do including xmas eve and xmas day then 12 hour nights boxing day and 27th  . We actually did some flying between us in emptying out the old junk room so we could put the new computer in there to make space to put the xmas tree up. I lost count of how much carp we took to the tip but theres still more to go.

Consequently the rest of the house is a tip and I dont have ANY presents wrapped yet and am back at work tomorrow until lunchtime xmas eve  .
Looks like it will be a late wrapping session again:rolleyes: .

Food shop was done online and delivered this morning so that I could get it all put away before the kids and I went over to mums for a Christmassy type lunch there today. Looks like plans for mums 70th birthday in Spain have been changed and she's going to have a party over here so that her sisters can come as well. But dad has offered to take us all back for a week in August as well so looks like I might get a bit of sun next year after all :D .

Right better fly as I think I may do some wrapping before bed as some pressies have t go out in the next couple of days

One blue bin of clean clothes folded and put away. 2 pots of soup on the go and bm is nearly finished with the dough, fingers crossed it works this time.

Hubby up so i'll head to the shop shortly.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

DS3 (7) beat us at cluedo again - maybe he has a career as a PI ahead of him.

Need to start the mass of ironing now - kids have Gladiators on the tv so that'll be light entertainment.
