Waaah I'm watching Noel's Christmas Presents and I'm in floods of tears already. Need more tissues!

Just before my sister left to live abroad we used to watch that on Christmas mornings and blub our eyes out. My mum, my sister and I crying away and my dad rolling his eyes. I loved it. Sadly it's on sky now so we can't watch it .... hope you've found your tissues xx

One of DS's friends who works at the Tesco I go to just popped round. Seems I went at the right time. He says the store has been heaving since lunchtime!

And, I can duly report back that the Champers is going down very well. For anyone who's feeling flush, it's the Delacoste french brut £15.00 per cork pop

Lil_me big hugs, i bought hubby a bin to put right beside the bed but still his side is covered in crisp bags and rubbish and the bins nice and clean. Even here he won't lift his cup and put in the sink when he's finished BUT he will do it at his mothers. I swear i don't know what goes on in their heads.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Tooch the song was written by Leonard Cohen and recorded by Jeff Buckley...his version is the No. 2
    Many versions have been recorded.
According to wikipedia the Shrek version was recorded by John Cale (I'm now on safe ground) who is Welsh but was a member of the US group Velvet Underground (Lou Reed was in it too - Perfect Day)
BUT when the soundtrack CD was released they put Rufus Wainwrights version on that...

I am going to double check this...

Don't remember who asked but the shrek version of Hallelujah was by Rufus Wainwright, according to soundtrack anyway. Think that means he sang it.

Froddy beat me too it, but I put the cd on anyway

Thanks tootti :D My big boys arrive home lunch time Christmas Eve, and leave again after lunch on Boxing Day. They both have work to get back too, and being starving students they can't afford to pass work up. I can't wait to see them!
