:hello: We're plodding through things here but I'm feeling so sick
Just want to go to bed and die quietly for a few hours but no chance of that. Big two are gradually getting through the lounge. Most of the mess is theirs and I'm fed up of picking up after them. I know I'm not perfect but I've been struggling with headache, back problems and other things. Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!
SPC2 #571 - trying to get as much as possible0 -

Just finished wrapping all the pressies for my old neighbours - 9 tins of catfood wrapped for their 3 cats (3 each) from our cat - sort of a tradition that the cats buy something for each other; and a present for their mum and dad; plus a present for elderly neighbour.
Will be off to deliver them in a bit.
Was stopped halfway through by OH who needed me to use my muscles (seriously) to hold the spare bedroom window whilst we tried to refit new hinges as the old tenants broke it and it was permanently open and draughty.
At least I don't have to properly cook tonight as we went to my M&D last night for dinner and there were lots of leftovers (veggie chilli con carni made by my Dad), so will have to reheat and cook rice. Just realised I forgot to go out and get sour cream to go on top as it'll be too hot on it's own. OH just said that we should have it tomorrow, so looks like I'll be cooking tonight after all.
Right, best be off.
Glad everyone seems to be doing well - hugs for anyone recovering from bugs or surgery, or fires and falls, or from battling in the shops. I've avoided going to the supermarket til tomorrow as I thought it'd be slightly better then (fingers crossed) as some people are still at work.
See you all later, possibly on the new thread if we're at the neighbours for a while.

Back from the pictures - Inkheart was very good - DD1 dropped off for sleepover her friends mum asked if she could stay Monday night as well as she wants to take them to the panto tomorrow night so it will be a quieter house tomorrow as well. Dropped into inlaws to hand in family cards & pressies and now back home. Tea in the oven and just about to start on the ironing.
Hex - quite jealous that you have been out gardening the garden here is rotten definetly on my list for the new year want to replan it and hopefully put in a veg patch somewhere.0 -
Hi guys
Haven't caught up with the thread yet, but trust everything and everybody is ok...hugs to poorlies.
Littley is currently sorting out her room, threatened her with Santa needing a tidy room and she flew up
Bless her she's sorting rubbish and charity bag.....
Been out and about agin today for few last bits and a bit of shopping....wrapped what we bought straight away so it wasn't lurking in the back of my mind giving me a stress headache, tho I bring it on myself cause I don't know when to stop, bought 2 rechargeable electric 3 head razors in Woolies for £4.80 each  so saved money too
the nuts/ sweets are out, the chocs are on the tree and the house is tidy-ish and pretty clean....stripped my bed this morning and hoovered right through downstairs and up the stairs and onto the landing. Left the hoover up there so I can give littleys room a good going over once it's tidy and the rest of the bedrooms.
Got tea to prep (mince & onion pie, mash, carrots, parsnip & gravy) littley to drop off at MIL's later for the night, my bed to remake, need to find some cotton/string to hang cards on and do them, they're taking over the living room and I hate clutter....I'm starting to get tetchy about them
