I have been in the garden for the last couple of hours so no longer envious of Dusty Kitten. Bit of weeding, but of tidying, potted my cannas (probably too late but worth a try) and spotted that my witch hazel is flowering along with a lovely scented honeysuckle, and that the snowdrops I spent hours splitting and planting have taken :T .
DH has gone to collect DSS's who are with us till Boxing day. Need to have a quick tidy downstairs and maintain the long standing lie that the house is tidy until they come and mess it up :rotfl: .

lil_me - can't say I've noticed a great difference with the GF diet either. The 2 in my class would go through pritt sticks too if they were in reach!! And I did have a good evening thanks - went to see my friend's band play and they were great!
valli - thanks! I have managed a few things off my list over the past weeks, but this week has been much better! Car checks are done each week when I'm at work as I drive just under 300 miles a week, so that stays on there during term time!

SummerMoon - aww, bless - what a lovely surprise
soappie - good luck I'm planning to get up early (ish) tomorrow morning and hit the 24 hour Tesco before it gets too busy

Am I the only person (with a tv!!) who doesn't watch Strictly (or X Factor, or I'm a Celebrity or .........) ?

... just cleared out my work bag... found a copies of contracts that people claim don't exist (please note, I found the COPIES, so the originals must be somewhere).
More to the point, why do I have copies of contracts from 1998 in my bag? I didn't work for the company then, and certainly didn't have the bag. I must have needed them for something, as I remembered seeing them and kept telling everyone they must exist as I'd seen them recently
Still can't find my first class stamps though!0 -

I check the oil, water, break fluid and washer fluid levels, the tyre pressures and the lights. All taught me by my dad when I first got my car."There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers
