Hi,
I'm using 'upad' which was recommended to me in this forum. Not the cheapest at £99+vat for the advert, but very efficient - advert out on Rightmove, Findaproperty, Zoopla, Globrix, etc. They were very easy to use, loading the advert, etc. So far, so good. Also very approachable and easy to get in touch if advice needed. They also promise to advertise until the property is let.

Extra services such as referencing, tenancy agreements, etc are on offer for an extra fee but have not yet tried these.
• I used The Online Letting Agents (theonlinelettingagents.co.uk) and they were great. I put my ad with them before lunch, and they sent me an email at about 2.30 with a link to it's page on rightmove. I was sceptical at first, as the service i used was free, and for that they seemed to be doing a lot, but apparently they charge the tenant an admin fee (i don't know how much it was, but my tenant said it was less than they'd paid for their last house) to cover their costs. That was fine by me. I got tenants, and references and a contract and it didn't cost me a bean. I can definitely recommend them. I wouldn't go back to my local agent who, i felt, totally ripped me off for the service i received.

frankie2345 - the thread is almost 6 months old and you have three posts in different threads all singing the praises of the same company. Looks like a spot of self promotion.....
• I used Urban sales and letting and they were very good but a little pricier than the one I have just used which is absolutely useless and they are padres.co.uk.It is impossible to speak to anyone ,no replies to emails and important details left out of advert (which I put in) such as bond. Not possible to get leads via text message, so details by email only.It was cheaper but a load of rubbish.

MOVE LOCATION Agency = AVOID. A group [text removed by MSE Forum Team] that call themselves 'a freelancing agency'

Completely unprofessional, ill mannered.

Viewed houses with them, liked one. The 'agent' was compulsive, pushy and dominant. He did not know anything about the house or details. He asked me to contact the landlord for details while we were viewing the house!!!!! He could not provide me with a number to contact the landlord or neither arrange a meeting with the landlord. He was only interested in me paying him the £200 agency fee 'asap' to 'book the house'. They could give me no written documentation at any time.

I found a nice place myself. Please do NOT trust this agency. [text removed by MSE Forum Team] Roaming in a car showing people houses doesn't make you an housing agency. [text removed by MSE Forum Team]
