If it were my business i would be defending it to.
I'd like to see them come on here and defend their ridiculous "original prices/savings" . Most if not all of the products are failed projects, they failed for a reason, in a lot of the cases I'd agree that reason was because they fell into the category of "tat" or at least what most reasonable people would describe as tat.
As for not criticising the company, well I'm afraid that's what we do here, we share, examine/scrutinise purported bargains and offers and exchange experiences and information with each other in an endeavour not to fall victims of sham deals, dodgy sites, crooked sites etc etc etc, I'm not suggesting for one second there is anything dodgy about the site in question, just attempting to explain the kind of reasoning behind the critique offered up.
In most cases you would need to be an absolute ignoramous to have purchased the items at the claimed full price, it doesn't take a genious to work that out.
It is also a little disconcerting that they would come here and name individuals in their posts and address them in such a personal manner even if suggesting to contact for a refund and smacks a little of emotional blackmail to then go on to suggest that if you criticise the products it is an insult to previous customers.
In short the products are worthy of criticism. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck it's unlikely to be a golden goose in disguise.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -
Totally agree, Ben. I have no problem with the legitimacy of the company, or indeed their customer service, but I DON'T like the way they mislead people into thinking the products are worth more than they are. When you actually receive the goods and see the quality for yourself, you realise just how laughable the so-called 'savings' are. I know you can send stuff back for a refund, but who wants the hassle of that at this time of year?
And you're quite right- this is what this forum is for- people have every right to comment and give their opinion, and thereby help others make informed choices. And by the way, I would have absolutely no hesitation about expressing my opinion in a high street shop if I thought I was being ripped off.
I also DO NOT like the way this company has insinuated itself into this forum in the past by pretending to be a member of the public and defending Grabitnow (and please don't pretend you haven't). At least this time they have the honesty to post as themselves.0 -

Yes we do discuss on here....but if you're going to start slagging someone or some company off then be prepared for them to answer back... I just thought the grabbit response was well written, I wasn't talking about anything they sell. Nobody is forced to buy anything and some people buy because they think they are getting a bargain. They offer a full refund and they're not conning anyone....
So my point being, discuss all you like but don't get all uppity if the seller fights back with a response....if you can't take it, don't give it.Never put off until tomorrow what you can avoid doing altogether.:D0 -
got to agree with Ben, the worst thing about grabitnow is the massivly inflated RRP on prices. It pays to shop around and you rarely seem to get a good deal with these guys.OnePoll - £12.40, Yougov - £1.00, VO - £24.25, youdoo miles - 24292, MHF - £0.00
Not much, but its a start :rotfl:

Just thought I would give my 2 pence worth. I like this company as I have never had any problems with the items I have brought and from the pictures they post can see exactly what I am buying (even though I know its cheap stuff, if it wasn't they wouldn't be selling it so cheap!). If it is selling an item that I want (as with any other site or high street shop I would by from) I would do my own independant research on the best price and the quality of the item and not take what this or any other companies say is the rrp out there (as rrp is never always the best price!). If I dont want it, I dont buy it, if i'm not happy with the item I have brought, I return under the distent selling act. I am a little offended by the comments stating all is "tat". Some people like myself can not afford high end top quality items and are happy for sites like this and boffer to offer these items. As I said it is only an offer and you do not have to buy. With regard to the next 20 deals for £10.00 that would make it 50p an item, how much is "tat" in a pound shop?if i had known then what i know now0

Tat in a pound shop is generally around the £1 so effectively you could say you are getting your gear half price at 20 for £10, a good deal in that respect, but hardly comparible to the claims being made, I think that is the beef people have.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0
