  • Good Afternoon Ben500,
Well, to retort with my own anecdote, some people like to shop in Harrods and some prefer Poundland and although a vast difference in pricing may occur, the end results remains the same - the customer has made their own choice and a decision to purchase that product at that price. In reply to your question, please note the (*) which is printed on the front page of every grabitnow offer :

(*) This estimated saving is based on purchasing one item and priced against similar products that we have found or sold on the internet. Please note that this saving is to act as a guide only and we cannot guaranteed or be liable for this total saving, as prices change on the internet on a daily basis and it must be the purchasers responsibility to decide if the estimated saving is appropriate and acceptable in order to continue shopping with grabitnow.com

Please also note that we quote "could save" and "compare similar prices" and no where on the site do we ever claim that we are the cheapest o the internet. However we do claim : "one amazing deal for one day only" and we also give "free delivery"...THAT IS WHAT OUR SHOP OFFERS

And my question to you Ben500, can I ask what professional trade you are active within ? Best Regards, Grabitnow

I defended one of your posts earlier in this thread when someone accused you of an 'attitude' now sadly I would have to agree with them, what kind of customer service rep asks 'what profession do you work in'?! What on earth has that got to do with the price of the goods you sell??
  • rather hit and miss
    Merry Christmas MSE!
  • Sorry it's not free postage....add 2 to basket and proceed to checkout....comes to £6.99

Add 2 to basket, find something else for £2 ...comes to £5 which is the order value required for free postage - so you get a 'free' item (whatever you got for £2) and save a quid compared to buying the 2 for £6 at grabtatnow. Or just buy 4 at amazon (for £6) and get free postage - twice as many for the same price. ;)

Oh come on....thats not an answer....Nobody has yet to find it cheaper....oh and by the way...it doesn't matter what you add the postage isn't free as all the ones shown are from amazon marketplace so....;) back....lol

 I just think they got a slating for nothing, thats why I defended them .....
Never put off until tomorrow what you can avoid doing altogether.:D
  • Well, I bought 3 items from grabbit on 30/10 and paid for them. The following day I got a full refund via paypal. When I rang to enquire why they had refunded I got some story about paypal not giving them my delivery address. They could not reinstate my orders.
This, roughly translated, means they oversold goods they did not have enough of to fulfill orders. I told them on the phone that this did not sound right, dodgy traders and where they could put it.

So I had no chance to try their items and as far as I am concerned, Grabbitnow office, with your sterile customer service agents and hopeless ordering system - you can keep it.
Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed. ;)

If you quote me, don't forget the capital 'M'

Fair enough, I thought they were direct from amazon, sorry.
I still wouldn't buy anything from grabtatnow though. ;)

  • I bought that 20 deals for 20 pounds, tbf it wasn't what i expected, after i didnt actually scroll down and see what was going to be in the box. I mean even the free gift I got (which was supposed to be worth £9.99!) ended up being a pack of three golf balls:-s. but anyway i rang the next day and after hearing all the hassle somepeople got i was expecting a fight on my hands to get my £20 back, but the woman on the other end was pretty friendly, and then I got the email yesterday saying my refund was going through in the next 3-5 days which it has done! woo! i recieved good customer service but I definitely will NOT be buying anything more from grabitnow.com ever again.

    Good Morning Posters'
We are not beholden to a few negative opinions on a Forum, when we know we are delighting many many thousands of Happy Shoppers. We are a very professional organisation and will not be changing our Business model to suit a few angry and gloomy individuals who seems determined for "Consumer Revenge" and seem determined to slate every company in this Great Country. So, as a conclusive summary this week : If you dont like the daily offer - then please dont buy it. If you have not bought the item - then please dont critisize the offer for those who have found the deal acceptable. If you have bought the item and you do not feel that it reaches your full expectations - please simply call customer services who will arrange a full refund. That sounds a good deal to Grabitnow

Not every company just those that do or would do it's customers a disservice, again not surprisingly you have not supplied any evidence or link to back up your outrageous savings claims for the items I posted, I'll make it easier for you shall I, how about you simply post some evidence for the last item? Here it is for you again:
