In case any one is deterered by some of the previous comments, I have bought and eaten the ham and I can confirm that it is not reconstituted meat, it is a whole piece of ham.
The poster is correct, some cheaper ham (and you can tell by the uniform texture and shape) is made in this way you do get what you pay for with meat and Adsa would be taking the p*** if they tried to sell something like that for £15.
Hope that clears everything up.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -

The product selling at £5 for 1.1kg is processed reformed it is not as you say a piece of ham.
Actually, you are wrong. Have you purchased one? I have and although it's compressed into the skull shape, it is real ham and not reformed at all. It does look peculiar but not when sliced.0 -
also went into the cribs store in bristol and couldnt see any, my mother on the other hand went into the bedminster one and they had loads, the ham doesnt look amazing but tastes great falls apart in your mouth
, so i will be deff getting my mum to get me one from her local store.

Why do you suppose they would want to "compress" real ham? You are mistaken and misleading others based on that mistake. To be honest I cannot understand why you cannot tell the difference. I am not doubting it has a fine taste and many will find it delicious however that does not make it unprocessed ham. It matters not a jot to me if people like it or dislike it, the questions I raised were related to it's origin and the possibility of it being from contaminated sources as the vendor cannot guarantee its integrity due to the fact that it has merely been processed in England rather than produced there.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0
