but Ireland, being part of the United Kingdom of Britain, can also be classed as British so the term British on the packaging does not necessarily denote it was produced on the UK mainland. It could very well be from Ireland.0 -

I was afraid that would be your answer.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -
Seems like a lot of bother over a bit of ham, lol
. I was reminded of this thread whilst watching Lee Mack Live on Sky+ last night and he was having a go at the French who criticise the quality of our food and his argument was you wouldn't get a French kid experiencing the unbridled joy of coming home from school to see his mum was warming up some beans for his tea and then realising the beans had little sausages in them. :rotfl:
On topic: I got one of these last week but not had a taste yet so will reserve judgment but I can't say I'm going to be smug or devastated depending on its taste/quality. It won't single-handedly make or break my Xmas is what I'm attempting to say..Call me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -
I suppose it's just a simple coincidence that a week after the pork contamination scare that thousands upon thousands of these "joints" have appeared at supposedly knock down prices in Asda chillers.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0

I just bought one of these to serve up to guests with cheese pate and grapes etc. Thanks OP
Looks ok and probably tastes great too (I don't really like meat) but the packaging clearly states formed from British pork on the label.
Hope this helps someone.0
