at the end of the day if it tastes okay whats the problem,
as long as it tastes okay and is reasonably prices i dont care where it comes from or what its made of.WWSD(what would Scooby Doo)0 -
....I am merely supplying information to those that do not necessarily have access or the wherewithal to obtain it so that they can make an informed purchase.
You say :-
"Asda meat in general is of poor quality"
"..you will find you may not have purchased what you thought you had.."
"Of more concern is the dubious origin of this product"
"I know for a fact it is a reformed product and as such the content is questionable"
"the "meat" is not meat"
And to suggest they label it "Glow in the dark" ham due to the Irish pork contamination problem is going way beyond just "merely supplying information".
Have you got a personal grudge against Asda or meat eaters?0 -

About as silly as taking a selective snippet from a quote to use out of context to gain points.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -

Just had some of this on a sandwich and I have to say it's delicious!!:money:
Hadn't realised quite how big it is though!:eek:0 -
I have to agree mostly with Ben500 (not sure about the "glow in the dark" bit). I would buy this, as another poster said it's protein and it seems to taste good but it is not a bargain as it is represented to be. It is a cheaply manufactured product sold cheaply, which is fine and great for those of us on a budget - most of the ham joints sold in supermarkets are made of reformed ham (there's a joke there somewhere) but is not a high qualiy product reduced as Asda would have us believe,'Yaze whit yeh hive an ye'll niver wahnt'

As one who is old enough to take the 'musings' of self-appointed internet experts with a huge mine of salt, I have today had sandwiches made of this for my tea. Lovely. Very tasty. A BARGAIN.Call me Carmine....
