Hi, I bought one of these today. it specifically says on it
"NOT SUITABLE FOR FREEZING", of course its up to the individual whether they take this advice or not. My was dated till the 27th December so will still be okay at xmas. x x x

Yeah noticed that on mine, was surprised to see it - pity as I was planning on buying a few.

Anyone know if it would be safe to freeze these?

Mine's dated the same but it won't last that long. I'll be lucky if it's still in the fridge next weekend

I'd imagine they were frozen before, that's why it says not suitable for freezing. I personally wouldn't risk it.

Got one today, thanks OP. Loads of stock in my Asda. :)
  • Got one yesterday to freeze and then noticed the label when we got home!
Decided to eat it instead and it was lovely. Very tender and really tasty.
Only used half of it and it did large portions for 4 of us and the dog.
Will probably get another one for next sunday lunch too.
  • Must admit I was tempted by this - but my store Long Eaton - only had them with use by as 24th Dec.
Good offer if you can get the use by date you want!:j
