If we are going to insult "foreigners", lets do it properly - both bridges are operated by a FRENCH company !

    I didn't know that!

    Since when?

When the second crossing was given the go-ahead, in 1992, a company called Severn River Crossing plc was awarded a 30 year concession to build (the new) and operate both bridges.
The major partner in this consortium is a French company called GTM-Entrepose.

The UK tax payer put £190M into the kitty for a starter and has been fleeced ever since !

The man is clearly a prat!

He lives close by one side of the bridge so he left the house (crossing the bridge in the toll free direction, I assume?), with little petrol and no money, both of which he failed to realise until he was due to come back across the bridge?

Well, living that close to it, he should be well aware of the toll but it not, wasn't his memory jogged when he went across it the first time?
