Awful situation and sympathy as it could happen to us all, 21st century surely a simple text message and remove the funds from you that way with premium call is way forward ? The main Computer could easy pick up your reg number and you are through less hassle for everyone .... the simple things in life have to be so difficult ....sigh

We flew back into Bristol once. I can't remember how far we were on our way back home before we realised we had no English money on us .It was some stupid time in the morning. We had to go back into Bristol to find an all night garage.

We didn't know of any nearby place not being English and local and all... I try not to go over there too often - not because of the toll to come back but too many unfunny people telling very bad jokes.

If it's the original bridge then there's the junction for Aust/Severn Beach right before the bridge; the Severn View services have plenty of cash machines.
