Some folk have reported this on this thread, they also do this if you buy a contract phone, just to check the card you gave is valid.

Scammers and card fraudster do the same which is why banks sometime block such requests.

Great find this - christmas presents for Mum and Dad sorted! Could anyone tell me how you know Quidco has pulled through though? It's the first time i've used the service...

After a few minutes it should track in earnings, you can see earnings only after logging in to Quidco, make sure you

1. Delete all Cookies (or use a program like ccleaner -untick the options for the yahoo toolbar)
2. Restart your browser (close all instances)
3. The cash back is per order not per phone! Repeat the steps above for each order

It is worth using these cashback sites I've earned just under £1000 since signing up. There are many companies not just Quidco. Check the MSE article on cashback sites and there excellent checker http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/shopping/cashback-sites-comparison/

Hi,

Can someone help me please? I received the phone this morning and have charged it. Now I need to register it but when I try on the Orange website, it asks for my 4 digit verification code - which I don't have. I'm therefore unable to go any further.

When I try to get through to Orange by dialling the number given, it won't put me through because I don't have enough credit!

I understand that Carphone Warehouse wait 2 days before crediting your phone with the £10. Do I wait for this to happen and then register on my phone (as I obviously can't do it on their site because of not having this 4 digit code).

I am stumped at the moment and would appreciate any advice.

when you register your new number/ simcard on the https://www.youraccount.orange.co.uk/sss/jfn?entry=paygreg it says this

We've sent you a text message to your phone on xxxxxxx ,this contains your 4 digit identity code. The text may take a few minutes to arrive. or up to ten mins when i submitted it again

Cheers CLLC for a great find and golfy for the quidco spot. Been looking for a cheapo orange wednesday phone for ages! Lets hope it arrives tomorrow so I can the most of tomorrows 2for1!
