I placed an order and it went through the whole process, but the order confirmation on screen (not the email) says Out of Stock and when you click it says:
Don't worry - The 'out of stock' status is displayed when either the handset, network or colour is temporarily unavailable. This means we are expecting more stock of this item in the near future. If you have your heart set on this great product, you can back order the item. When we have more in stock we will process your order.
I went through the whole process but it said 'out of stock'. Faineant, you have more sense than me. I could blame the bad cold but the truth is I am just plain dizzy.0 -

Thankyou CLLC for the original post and MSE Natasha for the update.
I will certainly see if I can get hold of one of these phones in my local store.

orange credit is on the sim u have 2 activate it then can take up 2 72hrs to go on, orange sent me £1 though, get me going - to activate see previous page xx
72 hours (up to) is a joke. You could be earning interest on that money instead of them... If you pay in CASH to a paypoint, or with a voucher, for example, it shouldn't be up to you to shoulder the 'risk' of the payment being fraudulent (so in the few seconds to few minutes it takes to send the electronic payment to Orange's system, you should have your credit, no excuses). It's not like you can use your credit that quickly, so if there was an issue of fraud, they have total control to take or suspend your credit until it had been sorted out. Similar with card payments, apart from any card-specific issues. I just find it a bit backward in this day and age... It's one off the reasons I moved away from Orange and only keep the sim in a spare phone with no credit for incoming calls only.
Mobile networks have been rip-offs for ages, and only in the last couple of years are becoming reasonably competitive. Don't make things easy for them!0
