    WW Start Weight 18/04/12 = 19st 11lbs
    Weight today = 17st 6.5lbs
    Loss to date 32.5lbs!!!
  • Good morning everyone. It's icy here today and very cold but looking out of the window there's a lovely bright blue and pink marbled sky.I think we're in for a very cold day.
I slipped on the ice last night getting out of the car and am not feeling too sprightly I can tell you.I already have two vertabrae in my lower spine slipped and wedged together from a previous accident so I have to be very careful of making that worse.
I finished my christmas shopping last night though and today I'm just going to take it easy with lots of cups of tea and some painkillers.
I had promised and hoped to do some baking but thats not going to happen now.My daughter rang up and mentioned that they were starting to lose weight and were beginning to fade away as some lazy person had'nt been feeding them full of homebaking for a couple of weeks.Talk about trying to make you feel guilty.
Anyway have a good day everyone.Take care xxx.
  • Morning Everyone:j

It was so dark and wintery when we got up this morning I thought i'd got the time wrong.

Put the real christmas tree up yesterday without the decorations and it looks lovely. Decorating it is not my favourite job so it can wait until sat am when OH is at work and I can just get on with it.

Good luck with the exam Taplady and a hug for all who need one.

Not much OS happening today as a lot of work to complete. I need to post my parcel today or it won't get there for Christmas. Couldn't get a decent size jiffy bag anywhere yesterday so had to get OH to get some used bubblewrap from work and wrap it that way. I will need to make some bread as there isn't a crumb in the house and unload the DW.

If i get the bread made in time it will be cheese on toast for lunch. OH has had leftover casserole. Undecided about tea, maybe chicken/fake chicken fillets roasts and veg including some 39p Aldi parsnips that need using up.

Must go to the library tonight to get some new books out. I stopped buying books and rejoined the library a couple of months ago (is that OS??) to save some £££. I seem to get so much more pleasure from reading a library book and have read more recently than I have for sometime. Must be the free books. lol.:D

    Take care

    Morning all

impromptu day off today - yay. I'm training a girl in court and noticed that there was no list for today so ...... I love my boss. It's worked out really well as dgs has his first school concert today. No idea what to expect as he doesn't know what he's doing either. The only clue is that he has to wear a red top

the rest of the day will be spent in my favourite leisure activity of cleaning the pit we live in GGGGGGRRRRR!!!!! Just want to clear the decks and have a nice weekend off for once really. that will be followed by the judges party at work tonight - posh drinkies and nibbles - lovely

    have a good day all

Morning everyone, its wetter than an otters pocket here today. Up & about before the alarm this morning, its a bit odd, as since I was told I was going to be made redundant, I've slept better than I have for years. Even managed to make porridge for breakfast this morning, which is something I haven't done for a couple of years.

Turfy6 - sorry to hear your sad news

Miolierre - I'm glad to hear Lo is getting better

Taplady - Good luck with the exam

Mrs Tittlemouse- take it easy, look after your back

Have a good day, whatever your up to.

    Morning all,
Woke feeling terrible, the flu lurgey has won. DH has gone to have another blood test. When he gets back we are going to buy the trees today as I can't face the crowds tomorrow, I really don't feel up to it but will only worry if I don't get them and decorate them tomorrow. 2 more beams to do then all finished.
Managed to write and post all cards y/day.
Asked DH what he wanted for dinner, "A chinese takeaway, you'r not cooking" Woopie.

Not a very OS post as I plan to do as little as possible.

TAPLADY Good luck with the exam.
KWIKICHICK, Hope you get the job.
MEANMARIE, Hope today is kinder to you.
Special ((((((((((((hugs to all in need)))))))))))))))))
  • Today I am going to stop dithering and get all my scarves that I have knitted on ebay.

    There! I've said it.

Also lots of play with little bear.

Forgot to get out the meat that I want to use to use up all the veg for stews and soups to freeze. Darn and poot. I'll fill the washing up bowl with cold water and put them in that. Fingers crossed that is what I am doing this afternoon.

    Hugs to all.

    Morning everyone

it`s very cold here with an extremely thick frost and lots of ice. The sky is a very strange colour and it really wouldn`t surprise me if we had some snow.

The heating is cranked up and the washing is starting to dry - i just need to empty the dw now.

The houndies have had their walk this morning and the younger one managed to cut her foot on something, i`ve just managed to bathe it and wrap it up and so far so good! i hope that i`ve not spoken too soon now and she starts to rip the dressing off  i would never have known if i hadn`t seen the blood everywhere as she was running around as normal and chasing the ball with all her pals.

I`m in a bit of a dilemma as a job has come up that i am really interested in.
If i applied and got it then i would be back on a rather steep learning curve which i would enjoy. The chances of getting it would be rather slim though as there will be many applicants. It would however more secure than my present job and a little bit more money but it would mean travelling for an hour each way every day instead of my usual 20 - 25 minutes.

I love my current job too and have a good shift system so i really can`t decide what to do, i also have good managers and line managers etc in my present position so i am really torn. I need to really do some serious thinking - HELP!

I`m off to MrA shortly, not for the weekly shop as that will be done tomorrow but i really need to get a cover for the doggies new bed - especially as the houndies paw may bleed again. Also it`s our works Christmas pub crawl today so i need to get ready for that too and make sure that this time i eat before i go! :D

I`d better move my arris now or i shall get nothing done.
((((HUGS)))) for all the poorlies and anyone who is feeling a bit under the weather.

    Catch you all soon.

Planning on starting the GC again soon :p
