    hiya feeling good,

our fundal length (which they measured) is usually 1cm for each week old the foetus is. You are allowed to be 2cm above or below this without anyone minding at all. It's a pretty crude measure of baby size tho, so even if there's concern they'd normally scan you instead.

Its actually 5cm either way in practice.

OMG I know this aint anything to do with pregnancy, but i dont really post anywhere else now so....
My son is a bloody stud :rotfl:
I took my neighbour down the school today to take her DS to nursery and sat out the front in the car, all the kids were out for their lunchtime play and I kid you not there were about 4 or 5 girls following Aston around!
I know a couple of them are in year 1 and possibly year 2 (he's in reception) one girl kept grabbing hold of his hand!
At one point he fell over and 3 girls had their arms round him and 'escorted' him to the teacher! I was in stitches!
I said to me mum either they all fancy him or they are his fag hags :rotfl:
After school the girl who kept holding his hand ran up to him and cuddled him and wasnt letting go :rotfl:

Thanks, :D that's good to know, I've been threatened with not being allowed a home birth as I'm 2cm below! Have you got a linkie for the 5cm is ok thing, I'd like to ask my MW about that!

P.S Feelie I can't shop for the baby either and I'm 35 weeks today! Stick with me kid! ;)

We had the 12wk scan today, and all went well. Baby was in there wriggling around and waving at us, so we're much relieved!! I was also given a new due date of 5 August, based on measurements. I pointed out my concerns about my extensive family history of diabetes (and my sister's insulin dependent diabetes that kicked in during her next to last pregnancy) and the midwife has scheduled me for a glucose tolerance test at 16 wks and again at 28 wks, just to double check where I'm at now. So I'm glad that will be watched. So according to them, I'm 13wks now. Yay!
