I had a galileo but at a party it got knocked over and broke and the stuff inside melted the glue on the carpet so it stuck up like a big bubble in the carpet!! Insurance sorted it though.
I have the egg and I love it. However for baby 2 i am thinking of a monitor that tells me the temp in bubbas room.
And yes when DS was born we were bloody freezing for ages as the 16-20degrees thing is quite the shock!! I like it warm! But baby comes first.0 -
molly - I had the dreampods for dd2 (I don't remember seeing them for dd1or ds1) and after a few weeks I wonder how I had ever got on without them! She loved them too and only came out of them when she was turning 2 and going into her big bed.
You need to layer like you would with blankets i.e. if it is cold then bodysuit/sleepsuit/sleeping bag if it warmer then just a bodysuit and sleeping bag.
When we used the proper bedding they always seemed to be warm enough with 1 flat sheet and 1 (folded over) cotton celluar (until they could wriggle up the cot!) Our baby monitor had a temp display on it though (on the parent unit too - which was quite handy) Actually that might be one thing I didn't ebay - will need to go have a wee look later....0 -

She said they are still looking to discharge me in March, despite my reservations. She did say not to worry about it too much, its not like they've actually done anything to help me!
Seeing MW this afternoon for Anti-D and check up. Hopefully BP is behaving itself. Morning sickness seems to have come back, thought it was a bit late for that!:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
right I've caught up
Glamazon - Wazza do private scans that are in the evening and I think saturdays too so if they don't get you an appointment for 13wks at the latest u could demand a time slot in the private sessions? (In fact do that anyway because I'm thinking of having a private scan there in mid march so might see you there!)
AM: do you have a constant feeling of needing to pee (as if preg didn't cause that anyway!) or burning when peeing? they are better symptoms of water infection, if ur worried I'd call docs and ask them who to see (they'll want a sample so be prepared:))
MM: I'd call the hosp just in case! I've never had braxton hicks that were that bad to take ur breath away or lasted that long. If it is early labour they'll give something to try n stop it, I'm of the better safe than sorry thought
Feelie My morning sickness came back last time on and off in 3rd trimester so I wouldn't worry x:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -

hiya feeling good,
our fundal length (which they measured) is usually 1cm for each week old the foetus is. You are allowed to be 2cm above or below this without anyone minding at all. It's a pretty crude measure of baby size tho, so even if there's concern they'd normally scan you instead.
HTH,;)

The midwife I saw on Tuesday told me she couldn't write any scripts at all and I would have to ask at reception... I only wanted bloomin gaviscon!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls...
