Hey, I haven't seen your photo and I wouldn't know any of your mates, I don't know anyone from Wigan except the girls I manage and they don't share their lives with me! From down south originally so wouldn't know any old school mates and I'm assuming your real name isn't Sami_Bee!!!! Not a lot to go on here so I'll not track you down :rotfl:

Gonna stick with 'wazza' as you so nicely put it - 'place of birth - Warrington' sounds so much nicer than 'place of birth - Wigan' - sorry no offence  and hell, if it's good enough for Kerry Katona then it's good enough for me, although she probably gave birth privately.

Just spilt the beans to one of the girls in work - well she kinda guessed and I didn't correct her and then it was 'OMG, you're not?!!' I am such a crap liar when it comes to this pregnancy lark - she has been sworn to keep schtum by penalty of sacking!!! (I'm joking btw!)

In that case I know why it's 10 :) Before these house were built nearly all the properties were housing association - the whole estate was flattened 4 years ago and rebuild with the new houses. So either it's still thinking most houses are HA houses or we're just not as posh as we thought ;) :rotfl:
10 is pretty posh tho! MIL lives on a little newish build estate but only about 200 yards away is a council estate I should check what it says for a few doors down from me coz we live litteraly on the edge of out town only 2 houses a pub and a train station after us then its much posher (which is why some times I tell people we live near the golf club not the station )

I'm feeling similar - am 37 + wks but baby is measuring 40+weeks and I'm in a lot of pain with SPD - can hardly walk which isnt good when I have to walk my 2 older children to school. Tonight is their swimming lesson which i'm dreading walking to the pool and back but they so look forward to their lessons I dont have the heart to miss them. Maybe the walk will bring me on? I hope so.
Have to go for a scan next week as I;m planning a natural birthing centre birth but they are concerned that we may run into problems due to size of baby (they dont do any assisted delivery ie ventouse, forceps etc) so realy hoping he comes sooner rather than later so i get the birth i want for a change (3rd time lucky!)

  • Oh my!

Often, many of the people who live in this sort of postcode will be families and single parents living in council flats. These are known as type 52 in the ACORN classification and 0.86% of the UK’s population live in this type.
In addition to Glasgow, neighbourhoods fitting this profile are found in West Dunbartonshire, Dundee, Aberdeen and Edinburgh.

It definitely does it on the actual postcode, as Winchester is very posh indeed - I live in one of the 4 tower blocks in the town, so I'm a much bigger number than I expected.... I guess it means I DON'T have to do my hair anyway, that's a relief!

By contrast, my parents house is number 1... I will have to put on my pearls when I go for lunch tomorrow ;)

you must have the don't show me avatars box ticked then :) coz my "avvy" is a photo of me
I once read an article about Kerry Katona and they mistakingly said she was from Wigan - I wrote in and complained! :rotfl:
She did have her 1st 2 at warrington, I know one of the "bounty ladies" and she gave her a bounty pack when she had her 2nd
I can tell you're classy and not from these parts coz you don't say wazza :rotfl:
I'm wigan born and bred so am biased towards it but as I said I went to school in warrington so know it quite well.

Ps just realised you said u worked in WN4 - thats where my "posh" Hubby is from :D

Me classy - that is so funny! I am so not - my house is nice but a bloody tip (that will have to change once bean arrives). If I can drag myself out of bed in the morning I might have time to put some slap on! Oh yeah and I keep forgetting to mend the hem on my trousers so one leg is longer than the other:rotfl:

My idea of a night out - is staying in (ha, get it?) with a DVD and a nice spicy curry with a pint of Strongbow. Very classy!!

I love hearing people speak Wiganese - chips n curry anyone?!!!!

Yes and WN4 is quite nice too.........

hehehe Wiganese! (I'll have you know I don't have the accent tho ;))
Chips n Curry is just a northern thing, I remember when the company I worked for was bought by a company from essex and hey couldn't get their heads around the Chinese Chippy, they kept saying but its either a chinese or a chippy :rotfl:

I certainly wouldn't use Kerry as a model for anything tho, she's as rough as they come :D when she did her 1st page 3 at 16 she bought lots of copies and brought them into school to show all the lads  - I went to a better school than her tho :p but a friend was in her year at the same school as her

Yeah took me a while to get used to the fact that Chinese and chippie were in same shop!!!

Love the accent especially when people say 'chips and curry' - it makes me laugh. No more chips and curry for me though - although what is it with fruity curry sauce?!!! Hello - curry sauce is supposed to be spicy not fruity.

Trying to eat healthy for bean - although think I'll turn into a bean if I keep eating beans on toast and jacket spud n beans!
Kerry was only person from Wazza I could think of - defo not a role model
can imagine that with the papers! I bought lots of copies of Wigan evening post but only coz work was in it and everyone wanted a copy!!
