If this is ur pram http://www.groovystyle.co.uk/productpages/2005-babystyle/xts-twister-pushchair.php
Then you can search this thread for posts by myfathersdaughter she posted a link to a maxi cosi carseat that was a super bargain at £65ish
Yup that's it
I saw the maxi cosi, but I was thinking of a group 0+1 seat to stay in the car. I don't like the baby car seats that you carry baby about in, my friends little girl stopped breathing in one! Plus, leaving the seat buckled in the car will be easier, it's going to be a tight squeeze with 3 seats in my car! The 0+1 fit backwards for the first 12 months then turn round and are moneysaving too.
What is not moneysaving is my trip to eBay :rotfl: £17 on a blood pressure moniter and £25 on an angelsounds heartrate doppler deely. But anything that makes me feel more relaxed is worth it huh?
Oh gosh, is the angelsounds one any good??? :eek: Have I just bought rubbish?0 -
Booo I've given up online pram searching, I search pram, it shows me pushchair0

It's the one I've got - before you use it have a listen here http://www.sweetbeats.net/fetal-doppler-babys-heartbeat.php so you know what you're listening for as it is all very 'swooshy'. But you can't use it till 12 weeks I think and it can be hard to find hte heartbeat cos it only penetrates about 2cm down so if baby turns over you can;t hear it.:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

I used a doppler yesterday, first I kept finding my own heartbeat but I managed to find a baby (or 2 - or the same one several times), the beat was much faster and the indicator on the thingy went to about 140 beats
Was relieved really as the scan was nearly 8 weeks ago :eek:

MaxiCosi gets some of the best safety ratings and I think comes top of the Which polls too which is why we all go on about them so much here
The MaxiCosi has a clip base - one clip thingy - which I have to say is great - you can VERY easily see if it's in properly and the base stays in the car when you take the seat outDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Don't think the baby will be big enough for you to feel at 24 weeks - think I felt it first about 32 or 33 weeks...now I am fed up of feeling it :rotfl:
Funny thing is hubby HATES getting hiccups so we have this image of Bubba effing and blinding about his hiccups and getting himself really worked up!!!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

Mine doesn;t have an indicator so I don;t know how fast ours is but it's certainly about double mine.:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Definitely! Finding my own heart beat was funny - stronger in different places, I wasn't keen on using a doppler but we got it cheap with a bunch of other stuff from a friend yesterday so it's pretty cool!!0
