I thought that they visited your house to make sure it was safe before they agreed to a HB  therefore its their fault for not saying it wasn't safe
thats a whole new neiche (sp?) market now HB insurance

Is that Home Birth? It wasn't that, it was post birth checkup visits :)
  • Exactly, I was never going to have an epidural, no way! but when I went into labour and was doubled up on the floor from the very first contraction, that soon flew out the wondow.
Turns out Aston's head was pushing against the left side of my pelvis at each contraction and when i tell you it was painful, my god i aint lying, this was no normal labour pain, this was 'i want to chop my legs off or jump out the window and kill myself coz it must be better than this' pain.
And i've had nothing but problems since, pelivis/hips out of allignment becuase of this and i get alot of pain running from the left side of my hip down to my foot.
I just pray I dont get back labour this time because that will finish me off!

You could be explaining my labour !!! Jasmine was pushing against my pelvis aswel and it took them ages to figure out why I was in so much pain. And I too have had back problems ever since too!!!

These babys know how to hurt us !!!:rotfl:

  • Evening all,
tiamai thats great news, very pleased for you.

Is it normal for hormones to change so rapidly? Went to see a house today, I really like it ( though a bit on the small side) but lovely big garden. I want it, OH thinks its too small. I cried, had a strop and now dont wanna talk to him. Please tell me im not gonna keep being this dramatic!

Sorrry to laugh - but it does get better!

I was an absolute brat, probably until about 30 weeks!! I feel quite sorry for OH now I think back - bless him, he's a saint! :A

I'm quite normal now (normal for me!) - but i'm sure i'll have my moments when baby is here and were suffering from sleep deprivation!!

  • :rotfl: Lindsay - I am afraid it gets worse!! At least you know you are stropping which is the main thing. This time you know what has happened, next time you may not even realise!!

MY top tip is cry and strop when you need to - but tell your OH that you just need to get it off your chest so you can be reasonable again. I say to OH that I need a cry, there is nothing wrong, I just need to get it out...then I fling myself at him and sob uncontrollably for 30 mins - then I laugh about what a stupid sap I have turned into and life carries on!!

Advice on the house - you will prob see his point of view in the morning :o

Edit - actually, I have been better for the last month or so...which is from 31 weeks on so 3onitsway has a point!!

I was saying to hubby earlier that my Peacocks jogging/yoga pants have been an absolute godsend to me - I would thoroughly recommend them to any of you ladies who are just starting to grow - will find you a linky!

Edit - b00ger - they don't do them anymore (not on line at least) they were a bit like these ones but cheaper:

MFD - I know, he even checks whether he can use the last of the orange juice, or switch the heating on/off:( I feel sorry for him.

I got my maternity leggings out of peacocks, they only cost £8 each, and I live in them. I wear them with UGG (fakies) boots and long winter dress type tops(cheap from primark). I have never been so comfortable, and will keep them for next time too, if they aren't worn out.
