Right, I've caught up!
Welcome and congratulations Alice and Mrs Moc :hello:
Glamazon - my docs was just as bad, I had to go down to give a sample for their records, then I had to go again as they wont give results over the phone, then my first booking in appointment was at 10 weeks
After todays scan, it begins to feel real. I was like others have said, didn't feel pregnant especially as I had no symptons/ms.
Hope the rest of you ladies and bumps are well.0 -

Dunno if it works though.:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
I think I was halfway between being in utter denial that I was pregnant because it happened too easily... first try! but the severe morning sickness and hospital trip at 6 weeks left me with no real chance to not face it
But it felt real when she started kicking
I was lucky and she started quite early and it was definitely something you don't mistake for anything else
I still hover between petrified and extastic!
At nearly 24 weeks I'm suddenly realising that hang on - we're on a count down here!!! only 16 weeks to go! But there is still so much to do! Ironically I had exactly the same feelings last year... because Roo is due less than a week after our first wedding anniversary so this time last year I was trying to sort out everything for our wedding!!! :rotfl: maybe next year will be a calm oneDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Evening all,
Would people stop making recommendations for stuff, my favourites list is filling up fast. I feel that if you guys recommend it, it must be good!
Beanie is throwing himself/herself around today. Its making it hard to concentrate at work. I'll be meeting with a client and then Beanie will be wriggling away. I thought my voice was supposed to sooth the baby, not make it bounce up and down frantically.
AM - just an aside. My little bro was diagnosed with ADHD when he was about 5 as the school complained he wouldnt keep still or concentrate in class. The consultant said that children with ADHD are often highly intelligent and apparently Einstein had it! My dad always said if its good enough for Einstein its good enough for my boy! One of the things the school did was move him every so often themselves. So if he was sitting in a circle they would just get him up and move him. This seemed to stop him wandering off himself and gave him a new view each time! It turns out he was wrongly diagnosed but he is still a very intelligent young man (now 16) and he grew out of it in time.
Anyways OH has just walked in with Phish food - so i'm afraid I better force myself to eat it before it melts!Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -
im here Elle lol!!! glad to see i was missed:D not that you think im going to leave when she does show up:L
well i have slept most of the day and havent done much else apart from being taken out for dinner:D we all went to the italian in the next village! its been recomended to us lots but we have just never went, i am not joking it was the best meal we have ever had. very expensive:O but worth every penny. so now think i may roll back into bed with a dvd lol!
OH has been warned that as of this weekend an eviction notice will be served and hopefully she will take note! have app with the reflexologist tom so no sleeping for me:( feel that it will be soon as i feel really heavy and also finding it hard to get my shoes on or even bending over??
hope your all well!! xxWhat's for you won't go past you0 -
Re headaches: I suffered with headaches really badly the first time I was pregnant. I ended up just living off paracetamol for a few weeks. I didn't like it, but just couldn't function because they were so bad. They did pass though, so you might just have to hang in there. Do make sure you drink enough though, so you aren't contributing to it.
Anyone got any pregnancy yoga/pilates stuff? Have seem some pants in Jojo but they are v expensive. Don't necessarily want to spend that amount of money, but don't want to feel like I'm a bag lady wearing over-sized joggers for the next 5 months. Any suggestions?MSE Parent Club Member #1Yummy slummy mummy club member50% slummy, 50% mummy, 100% proudImogen born Boxing Day 2006Alex born 13 July 20090
