Have had SIL, BIL and niece here this evening playing Wii music and guitar hero - hubby has finally got it into his head that if he invites visitors he needs to a) cook himself or order takeaway; and b) help me have a quick tidy round :T :T progress in the MFD household :rotfl:
Hurrah!
OH had this afternoon off work because he's got to work longer hours tomorrow (saves paying him too much overtime when he wasn't busy this aft!) so he's been home since half one. He's been to Tesco, done the washing up and emptied and refilled the washing machine.. love him!
He did have a slight panic tonight though when I told him I've arranged for the builder to come round on Saturday afternoon so we need to have a tidy up tomorrow night - or rather I will if he gets back really late  I'd dreading the quote.. it's such a long list of things to do! I'm guessing about £7k plus the kitchen and bathroom on top
ETA: Forgot to say, apparently OH spent ages in Tesco earlier reading the Radox bottles. He said I can't have Sleep Easy anymore "cos it's got something in it that you can't have" - I think it's one of the oils that's in Olbas Oil that he's thinking of - so he got me the Indulgence and Time Out ones "cos they're safe" I Google'd it tonight and apparently they're all safe.
I think all this has been brought on by him hearing and recording the heartbeat last night.. he's been bouncing ever since!0 -

I don't do bubble baths - I was told years ago that if you're prone to thrush/yeast infections, they can contribute to it. Not a clue if it's true, but that's another complication I just don't need.MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0

Hi ladies
I've tried to catch up but there were about 20pages so I've read a few and sorry if I miss something important out.searching_me wrote: »im at that stage where i dont feel pregnant i just feel fat i dont have a proper pregnancy bump just look like ive gained a few pounds ... anyone else feel like that? x
I did last week, and still do to a certain extent cos I work with people who don;t know me but those who do know me can see I have a bump now so I feel more pregnant.
newmoneysaver - that's a great pic! :T
I bought an Angelsounds doppler off eBay and it arrived today so I tried it out and thought I hadn;t found the heartbeat, but then I found this site

and realised that I had :j so LO is still going strong in there
OH didn;t get to hear it though so may have another go in a min in bed.
It's my birthday tomorrow and we are going away for the weekend so I won;t be on for a bit (not sure if you missed me anyway it so busy in here!) but hope everyone is OK and hugs to anyone who needs them.
