    Hi All,
    Welcome newbies and congratulations
I just wrote out a huge post but most of it was moaning haha, but It wouldnt post in the forum so it must have been a sign that you all didnt want to hear it! :rotfl:

Got a brilliant deal on my pram last night, I decided on the cosatto mobi in ember with the carseat. The cheapest it was on kiddicare and the likes of was £299 + £70 for carseat. Anyway I saw a shop on ebay selling one in the right colour with the carseat brand new and it didnt have long to go so emailed them and asked if I could have the lot for £250 and they said Yes! WooHoo So a nice big saving there - especially seeing as someone not mentioning any names hehe was going to buy just the pram without carseat off amazon for £389 as a suprise!

I just need to pick which bouncer / rocker I want now!

Hope your all well and bumps being good!

honeypop and djdymond - I can totally relate. I believe I'm pregnant and having a baby, but I can't quite believe that baby will actually arrive! And yes, I'm due on saturday :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hubby seems quite happy with the idea that there is a baby inside me, but I can only think that I have a wriggly tummy and I get to swap it for a baby after lots of huffing and pufifng at a MW :p

MIL has just been for lunch and was so sweet - I had asked her to bring bread and milk and she turned up with choccy biscuits, a magazine, flowers, malteasers and the messages :T so going to have a snoop round mse then snooze on the sofa with my goodies :o

r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!
I can't promise that all my replies will illicit this response :p
  • LOL McSmiler! How sweet is your MIL!! I can't believe you are due in 2 days! You are my 'month or so ahead of me' buddy!!

I am at home again today with this cold - getting better but coughing lots last night so decided another day at home would be best. I am treating myself to the only thing that I have had that is close to a craving so far (other than my newfound chocolate addiction) and that is a bacon sandwich with butter and marmite...hubby thinks I am a freak of nature :rotfl:

Firstly welcome to mrs moc, and welcame back to honeypop - sorry you've not been able to enjoy the pregnancy up till now, but you are not a nut-job. A friend of mine who didn't want kids, refused to even go to a doctors or midwife because she was in complete denial that she was pregnant....well until she was about 20wks and the baby started kicking her!!! even for the next few weeks she wouldn't talk about it......

Also as title suggests I hate the Wirral Line:mad:. dh has only had to go to Uni twice this week for exams. On monday he nearly got stranded as the liverpool circular was closed due to 'track problems', well it turned out a woman had fallen onto the line and was hit by a train:eek: Today he got to the train station to find that there is signalling problems at two different stations running each way:mad:.....he has had to get a taxi to uni (£30ish:mad:) and god knows how he will get back.:mad::mad:

Anyway back onto bump related talk - I had a sleep for an hour this afternoon and I feel great since waking up:D....apart from stressing about how on earth dh was gonna get to uni in time for his exam.
Ooooh also, I have actually had Braxton Hicks, I got them on Tuesday and Yesterday, I wasn't sure what it was at first because even though this is baby 3 I have never, ever felt them before. They felt very strange, and very strong too I almost had to stop walking when I got them the first time.:rotfl:

Do you? wow, I've never had them before I didn't expect I would have got them this time round either....just shows how different every pregnancy can be.

  • just me then with the nightmares :( ... maybe i just got to many things on my brain ... feel like crying at the mo not completely sure why ... darn hormones x

I hope you slept ok last night. I have them too... infact I only really seem to have dreams anymore when pregnant probably something to do will going into a really deep sleep. Up until I was 8 I used to get nightmares 4/7 nights then in my teens they started again... I had learned to bring myself out of the nightmare but when I do this when pregnant when I go back to sleep (after waking myself up and going back to sleep) I have gone back into the same dream which doesn't "normally" happen... I had put it down to feeling more vulnerable when pg and issues that you might normally be able to deal with seem impossible with the hormones etc charging around your body? Good or bad they are really vivid though!

    (hugs)

    Congrats to MrsMoc!
  •:cry: Poor Jamie - been cut from the list already!!! I'm putting him back in Krystal!

I'm taking the hint its time to move on.....

    hi all,

just come back from lunch with my friend who has a gorgeous little boy (6 months)

i have had such a slap in the face as to how much i still need to do/organise. i mean i knew i had a lot of things i still needed to get, but when you have someone asking you have you got this that and the other it really hits home.

must do a list, must make myself go shopping and must buy things. i am a terrible shopper. i never make a decision and usually need someone to force me to buy something.

    oh dear
