Krystaltips wrote: »Sami, saw the email and will check it out... But it did say diet... and Hubby will drink nothing but full fat so I didn't rush off to check lol...
And milk is an inhibitor so much better to drink fruit juice with food than milk... Which always makes me chuckle when I see cereals 'fortified with Iron' and then you mix them with milk....
ooh I forgot about that  its only diet coke that's cheap  I don't usually get diet out of my own pref but OH doesn't mind either way so I'll give him the diet stuff and I'll keep the own brand full fat for me0 -
It's still good to drink milk, just not with food...
Waterstones just called... I ordered the hungry caterpillar baby record book on Wednesday and it's in today! They said it would take a week too... Oh well, I will send hubby for it tomorrow or it can wait until Tuesday when I head to town to get my hair cut... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I personally wouldn't bother waste of space IMHO we only had 1 or 2 bottles for bath and then everything else was on the shelf under changing matt, we got the cheap changing table from Ikea thats £15 as could afford one of the other ones that are about £70+ I'm still using it now but am looking for a replacement now for bubs just coz we have the money to get a prettier one now
Sami - Can you tell me which one you have from ikea:heart2: Proud mummy to Ryan born 14.2.09 :heart2:0 -
AF - Thinking of you at the moment (((((HUGS)))))
Helen81 - Sounds like you might well be preggers! I didn't have sore boobs as soon as you, however I have heard that lots of women do. Fingers crossed for you!
Babyelephant - Welcome and congrats to you  . Good luck with keeping up with this thread - we do like a good chat in here!
I have been thinking of trying that fairy soft washing powder and conditioner - does it really make a difference? I always use Ariel colour liquitabs, but I think thats just cause I get stuck in a rut and buy the same thing every month.Value of prizes 2010 - 2017: £8374 Wins 2022: Magic set

Hello girles,
I can't join you yet(I just lurk) but hopefully soon!! Can I just ask...did any of you get really sore swollen boobies almost immediatley after conception? The reason I ask is that Im driving myself mad pregnancy symptom spotting..theres no denying that my boobs have suddenly increased in size (and weight!) and the veins are alot more prominent, BUT if I even have conceived it was only 4days ago! Im thinking-way too soon for boobs to swell but period wouldn't be due for 10days and this much swelling never happens this far away,it always happens 3days away.
Anybody experienced this atall?

Oh yeah meant to say to Helen, I def had the sore boobs very early on, had bled so though i wasnt preggers but that turned out to be an implantation bleed and the boobs made me 'know' to do a test.
I dont bother with the fabric softener as i was using the dryer balls but somehow they went faulty cos i had round holes burnt through a few things!! so be doing without recently.
Any of you guys getting any other furntiure for your nurserys?? Im on such a tight budget Im struggling to justify anything at the mo.:j

We'd been TTC for 18 months, had two miscarriages in this time and now I'm pregnant and managed to get to 21 weeks. This hasn't been straightforward though with bleeding problems etc and I was in the hospital last week again - they said I could lose the baby.
Anyway, I had my scan this week and ATM everything looks fine :j but I'm trying not to get too excited. I have a fetal monitor as the doc said if I could hear a heartbeat then the baby was OK... I try not to listen more than twice a day :rotfl: because sometimes I can't find it!
This will be the first baby for both grandparents and they are sooooo excited... we've been together for over 17 years so they'd given up all hope!
I promise to try to keep up with everybody on this thread!:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
molly im not sure if it makes a difference but it sure smells good:D my dining room smells amazing with all the tiny babygrows and vests drying on the airer!!
i got a changing table from OH friend at the auctions as he couldnt sell it?? it is lovely and was from the same range as my cot! i use it a lot as i save me bending over and keeps everything in one place! What's for you won't go past you0
