Another question, has anyone spotted any deep colour baby clothes on thier travels? Everything I've seen is white or pale blue! Ideally I want something dark or darkish - blue or red. Any ideas?Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0

Hey Feelie I got the new Vertbaudet catalogue through yesterday and I am pretty sure they had some lovely dark bits and bobs in there! I'll let you know if I find any others x

Hi Girls,
Does anyone have any suggestions for baby clubs to sign up to to get freebies (or is there a list somewhere?)
I'm going to do the supermarkets, Pampers, Huggies and Cow & Gate but just wondered if there are any others i should go for.
Now i'm 20 weeks (today - hurrah!) i feel i should start getting organised.0 -

Havent got anything planned brought anything or really organised any thing at all!!!!! And im just over 30 weeks so think i should start sorting myself out!!lol.
I have two dds already so i do have things in loft/garage and hope i wont have to much to buy but i need to sort through things and get organised!!

Greent, my sister was undiagnosed breech, ended up blue lighting it from the midwife led unit to the hospital 40mins away on her knees on a guerney for an emergency CS... IA was discussing it with a midwife at work though and she said it's actually quite difficult to distinguish between head and bottom as they're both quite hard feeling, it's only when you're dialated enough to get a poke at the baby they feel the squishy skin of the bottom...
Changing mats, I still have Aimee's here... Rather randomly it always lived under the arm chair because there is a gap just big enough to slide it in and out... And seeing as it was never in the way it's never been moved... Will probably replace it with another though as the plastic has split up one side... Wouldn't spend £20 on it though, will definitely got for a cheapie... They do the same job!
CHanging bags... Can you believe I sent hubby to fetch the free one from boots and he lost the coupon!!! I was really looking forward to getting my gemagic on it and personalising it too... Oh well he'll just have to fork out for a nice one for me! I had one of the rigid sided ones for Aimee and it got right on my wick, you can't just poke your hand in and grab something, you have to open the whole thing up... Think I still have it somewhere but I won't be looking too hard for it
Oh and I hate big bags, love little handbags and as soon as I was able swapped to a tiny handbag and just used to shove a nappy in it as I went out of the door...
And I think you get a travel pampers wipes box in the bounty pack you get in hospital... Well I did anyway... If not, sure they pop up on the front of magazines now and again... I ended up with about 3 anyway... Again, still got the nice huggies one...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Don't rely on the heatbeat giving the sex of the baby away, mine read 157 at my 16 week check and my 20 week scan said we were in team blue.
There was loads more I was going to say but baby brain has well and truly set in and I don't know if I'm coming or going at the moment! Have got a midwife appt tomorrow and got a few things to discuss with her as I feel rubbish. I keep getting stitch/cramps in my stomach, headaches and generally feel pants and I don't like it! When I was preg with DS1 I was walking around the Lake district at 7 months now at 5 months I'm struggling! I had an appointment at jobcentre today and started walking, got a few minutes down the road and was in pain and floods of tears. I knocked at my neighbours house and he drove me instead. Felt like a real idiot - damn hormones!!:heart2: Charlie born Aug 2007 :heart2: Reece born May 2009
