Ooh that's the one I'm getting! I did like the Mamas and Papas Pliko Pramette too, but Steve prefers the colourways of the Silver cross one.

If you're ready to buy the Silver Cross one, you can get it as low as £233!

It only cost £265 from MC and we are getting the car seat too, so all in it's costing £365
But we got it from MC as we could put down a deposit then pay it off.

My friend wanted the quattro but is now expecting twins so is going for the silvercross pop duo.
They are nice but I use my car alot (well will do when i get it) so need something less bulky.
And I fell in love with the SC one anyway lol

Yeah Steve wants the car seat too, but I don't see the point. I wanted to get a stage 0 + 1 combined. It's around £100 for a good Britax one, plus it will do from birth to about 4 years. Much better for the wallet than one lasting 9 months....but if Steve's gonna pay, more fool him lol :D

I didn't know you could put a deposit down in Mothercare though! They don't advertise that do they? Did you just ask in store? Actually, is it in all stores? xx

Yeah see I need a carseat/carrier as I'll be in and out the car a fair bit, so dont really want anything fixed.
It's called a nursery plan, The assistant told us about it, she was really helpful actually, but no i dont think it's widely advertised.
They have a list of items you can get, mainly the big things, then you put down a 10% deposit and have up to 6 months to pay it off.
Obviously we only have 3 months left but it enabled us to lay a bit down while the pram was on offer and we will have it paid by the beggining of March anyway.

Oh thanks for that hun! Think I'll pop into Mothercare at the weekend and see if they do it, then put down a deposit on one. :A

EDIT : Just found some info about it on their site!

Woooo, can't wait to go on Saturday now! I only need the pram, cot, mattress and a monitor, I've got everything else!

Wow, I am shattered, dh has just woken me up he found me asleep in an awkward position hanging off the edge of the bed...I only nipped up to get changed from work!!!

I can't believe my travel cot arrived today from Kiddicare - How quick is that:D I would definately use them again, that is great service isn't it!!!

I am also very excited as it is my last day in work tomorrow, we are all going out for a meal at the pub round the corner for lunch, Yum Yum:) although I will have to pull my thumb out as I have an assignment to do that is already a week overdue.

My friend borrowed me her pregnancy support belt, although I didn't really think about it but they must have measured her for it as it is massive on me...it doesn't really support anything...I did try pinning it and that sort of worked!! will have another play with it tomorrow.

    Hi ladies...

hugs to Elastigirl and Bumblebee. I'm so sorry to hear of your news.

Quick one from me. Appriasal went terribly. And I think very unfairly. I'm a bit in shock TBH. I've got a month to turn things around until I'm sent packing. *sigh*

So worried but trying not to stress our little cheeky chops too much.

    Anyways, love to all...

I take it you've not been in trouble at work before the app then?
If so then that is awful, it is completely inappropriate to suddenly threaten someone with the sack at an appraisal! 2 Qu's
    do they know your pregnant?
Do you have a copy of the procedure for poor performance?

If yes to 2nd then dig it out I'm sure you'll find that they you should have been given something like informal warning, formal verbal warn and written warning before they can threaten to sack you.

Hope it goes well for you x
