aylesburygirl i had this a few months ago but it was my little girl that had it, if you are before 20 weeks(i think?) then your best going to gp or hospital and asking for an antibody blood test. i was after the cut off so didnt have to get the test but it is a worry!!
just back from doc, he wasnt too worried but put my mind at rest. he said yes my BP is high for me and i do have swelling. i have been under strick instructions to take it easy and try to sleep some more. as for baby position he said he would have a feel and thinks she is head down but in his words ' i am a man so may not be right' pmsl:P he said not to worry but have to go back and see him next tues, then the MW the following week. if there is any confusion then he will send me for a scan. so feel kind of better, he said MW was probably told things were worse than they were and me being in panic mode didnt help:O so if i have another week or 2 to get organised ill be happy and she is more than welcome to arrive:D xxWhat's for you won't go past you0 -

Just tell them you're not feeling well and go and phone the GP asap.
If you were poorly with symptoms you would be off sickThis isn't any different really - it's just not obvious you're pregnant yet

Hi all,
Elastigirl and Bumblebee, so sorry to hear your newsPlease look after yourselves and give yourselves some time. Quite a few of us have been there too (me included) so if you have any problems or want to chat, come back and shout out and the ones who can help will PM you and help in any way we can
Caz, glad to hear the GP was a bit more reassuring! Did you find the Crunchies in the chocolate tin?
Sami, hope your Dad is okay, and happy birthday to Christopher! _party_
I had a chat to my colleague who does all the maternity leave and pay stuff today. I'm sorry, I was wrong with what I was saying at the weekend about handing in your MatB1 - you only have to give it in with or by the time you do your "I want to leave in four weeks" letter (and not at 25wks like I was saying). She's given me a timeline of when I have to do everything, so the next action is to write the letter minimum of four weeks before I want to leave. It's also got my return to work date on it - 28th June 2010.. That's like years away!!
As I managed to stay awake until bedtime last night - for the first time in about ten weeks! - I'm going to try to do it again tonight and sort out the mountain of paperwork and unopened post I have.
Oh, and I've got a card to say I have a parcel at the Post Office - it'll be the doppler! :j Will go pick it up tomorrow lunchtime.0 -
Elastigirl and Bumblebee - I wish there was something I can say that would make it all feel better but I know that there isn't and all I can send you is ((hugs)) and please look after yourself.
As for me I am impatient waiting for my booking in! Seems like smidge doesn't like cheese and onion walkers crisps which is GUTTING cos I love them. Ate some at 11:30 and threw them all up 12:15.0 -
Hi ladies...
hugs to Elastigirl and Bumblebee. I'm so sorry to hear of your news.
Quick one from me. Appriasal went terribly. And I think very unfairly. I'm a bit in shock TBH. I've got a month to turn things around until I'm sent packing. *sigh*
So worried but trying not to stress our little cheeky chops too much.
Anyways, love to all...
