I've put on between 11 and 13lb... but my weight was never stable before and goes up and down daily...

OK so just got out my preg diary from last time and discovered many things!
I saw a consultant at 16 wks (I remember her not introducing herself and being a right biatch tho!)
at 17wks my bump was 32" and my super cramp started then too (said cramp resulted in hosp testing me for blood clot as cramp lasted for about a week constantly!)
    18wks I weighed 8st 2lb, 18+3 I felt bubs move for 1st time
    19+2 bump was 33.5"

Just measured my bump now (19wks) 36" (same as hubby's lol)

    Hi girls

Just a quick question when did you get your first maternity bra? I was talking to my friend the other day about it i didnt think i needed one cos my boobs haven't really grown but she said it was to do with the underwire stopping the milk coming in?

Yep - you need them straight off, pretty much. Well, you need non-underwired ones, at any rate. It is something to do with milk ducts and the wires...

Princess, underwires don't stop your milk coming in but if the bra is poorly fitting you coud end up with blocked ducts... If your boobs haven't changed don't worry just yet, I'm still in my prepregnancy bras atm...

Princess, some say under wire causes probs in ur boobs others have told me its just a comfort thing  (Krystal can u clear this up?)
I didn't wear a mat/nursing bra until I got dressed to go in to hosp when in labour and I had tonnes of milk tho! Just chris didn't seem to want it

Caz -I now want to go to matalan and buy £1 slippers for myself :D

I was meant to be out and about this afternoon, but think baby has started to 'drop' (finally) as I have a very nice waddle and some small, but not too bad pains where they haven't been before.

I had a dream last night about my waters breaking in bed and when I woke up I realised that I haven't bought and stocked my emergency hospital bag yet - and I'm almost 38wks  must go to boots, but can't find the energy......

Had a question re: breast pads, I was wondering if people who use them have a brand preference/recommendation and what they think of disposable and washable?

I had 150 mothercare disposables... Still got 50 here lol... A friend used reusable ones but I always thought I didn't do enough washing to have clean ones available...
