What sort of weight were you before Ickle - that seems to make a difference.

Measured my bump - it appears to be 50 inches, and sticks out well further than my enormous boobs.

I tried to measure my fundus, but I couldn't find the top of the uterus. Well, it feels like the top is right below my breastbone, which is too high isn't it? I shall be patient and wait for midwife tomorrow.

I'm up to 8lbs, that'll be the huge KFC I had the other day!

Krystaltips - 60 cans of coke? You must be seriously buzzing! Coke makes me hyper! :rotfl:

Oh it's not mine! Hubby has a serious addiction (sure his mother used to give it to him in a bottle... She's that type lol) He takes 2 cans a day to work and there's always a bottle in the fridge on the go... I think he'd have more problem giving that up than he did smoking...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

How did you measure the bump? like measuring your waistline?

  • Ikkle beans - I've put on about a stone and a half and I'm full term. I did loose a stone in the first 16 weeks or so, but put that back on plus an extra stone and a half if you see what I mean. I can't remember what I weighted at 22 weeks though.

I'm so glad I went back to bed this morning - there is a pneumatic drill outside our building now! And the people upstairs seem to be learning how to dance or something - lots of stomping about going on!

AM: just seen £70 off SX 3D in mothercare sale, hope you got it at the reduced price too? xx

I haven't put any weight on (yey me) I seem to be getting bigger boobs n bump but else where is smaller, yesterday I put my skinny jeans on and they've just been washed so I thought they'd be dead tight but just needed to undo top button, and they kept falling down!
19 wks today :D 2 sleeps til scan!

The MW seemed to be measuring to my breastbone (by my bra strap) last week...and when she found my pubic bone she pressed the tape measure onto it and made me cry out and my eyes water - we had only just been talking about my SPD

Bubba is still on the 75th centile  apparently!

Yup, just measured it like my waist. Perhaps that is where the uterus is then. I feel kicks very high up, and very low down. They've not measured me yet, perhaps I am too fat :o I'll ask about that tomorrow.

MFD, I do love it when they press that tape measure right down near ur lady bits - no apologies or warnings I was rather shocked the 1st time!

75th percentile is the larger end of average, don't make me explain the geeky maths stuff again ;)
