which reminds me, I must Check with my sister that she would be ok have the kids if the worst happened! We discussed it when we first looked into getting a will but there was only 1 child then, I'm sure she'll still be happy but need to ask. Everything we have besides any little family passed down trinkets would go to her/kids not sure how our mum n dad's would feel if she's still living nr Hull though, 1.5- 2hrs drive to see them wouldn't go well I'm sure!
I wouldn't mind as the village/town she lives in is really nice, has a playground, canal to walk down n feed ducks etc

I think I'm in my sisters will to take her children if anything happened to her... Would be interesting... I had no children when she made the will lol...

Mooki, how would we go about finding out if we're elligible for free legal advice and a free will? Hubbies wages is shockingly low...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

Thanks everyone. Mookie - I'll reread your post when I'm not so tired.. lots of big words! :)

I keep thinking "we'll do it after April" (big date but not important here) but then I think what happens if something happens tomorrow! I think OH's might be more pressing than mine re what happens to me, the one preg with his child, and the house. Need to sit OH down and have a big chat, methinks!

MFD, we have that form so hubby can get PR of Aimee. As we're married now and he'll be on babies birth certificate he'll automatically get PR now...

As I understand, I think, any babies born now and have the dad on the birth certificate, unmarried fathers have parental responsibility. Is this right?
Too many children, too little time!!!

The easiest way is to call a solicitor, ask if they provide 'Legal Help' and ask them to do a quick calculation of eligibility over the phone. Alternatively, you can use this calculator: http://www.legalservices.gov.uk/civil/guidance/eligibility_calculator.asp

The tick option is the third one down. If you have a partner you must include their income etc
