  • Congratulations my account!!
  • Hi. I've come over from the 12+ m & issues carrying a pregnancy thread. We've been through a long journey of heartache these last 5 years. I don't want to be insensitive to the other wonderful group of ladies, but i'm absolutely bursting here!! I just got a positive pregnancy test!! Im beyond shocked. Can barely catch my breath lol. I have severe health conditions leaving us only one more cycle to get pregnant before giving up our dream forever. I just can't believe it!

phew.. thanks for letting me get that out! (we've been through so much we won't be telling anyone for months yet). I hope everyone is doing well and having a smooth pregnancy.

WOW! I bet you are shocked after trying for so long - it looks like it will be a happy new year for you! Huge congratulations on your fantastic news and welcome to the Pregnancy club

Feelie both links went to the first pram you mentioned  though that one looks very like the silvercross sleepover classic http://www.silvercross.co.uk/sleepover_deluxe_classic_chassis.php there are loads available in that stylee. How on earth did you manage to find a polish pram??? :)

That'll teach me to try and be clever!

My Mum is looking at prams on eBay and sent me a few links. Someone was selling one of the polish prams, but a different design. I liked the colour so checked the website and fell in love with that one. Its so bright and happy!

They are all so expensive, that I want to make sure I definitely get the right one.

is of the same traditional big wheels etc and they do some really nice designs, it was available online from mothercare but can't see it on their site any more  I've seen it in the flesh at the babyshow and its very nice I emailed them and they got back to me quickly with local stockist where I could have a go off it

AM i love that range we bought the whole of the bedroom i love my bear range for Charlie!!!

Feelie go to shops and try them out as the one i fell in love with was so impractical and i would have hated it quickly! go and take them apart put them back together again, see if they are washable(had a baby with reflux!) and also think about the storage for parts when baby outgrows! sorry to go on but with the expense make sure its the right pram!!

Lu T dont be jealous about new car lol its making me so stressed! have mazda to go back and then we are buying this one outright. so it will save me a fortune each month and we are going to put this money in the acc for buying newer model next year! also have to change insurance over and everything else???? on the plus side we can go out as a family and only need to use one car:D

Thanks all for your kind words :D

Baby Ellie is doing fine - it's her big brother (age 3-and-a-half) that I'm more worried about at the mo. He's been trying to figure out his place in the new household and hasn't been helped by all the relatives that keep inviting themselves over to gawp at the new baby. Still he seems to be bearing up well and even let me get a bit of sleep whilst I left him to his Lego Batman...

As for buggies - we chose the Maxi-Cosi/Quinny-Buzz combination with the isofix base. We'd love to upgrade our Xsara Picasso to a 7-seater so I'm jealous of the SMax purchase...

Oh don't bother with their twin ones they are huuuuuuge!! I thought they looked big on the pic but in real life _pale_ I think you'd need to have something like a transit van to get it in the back of :rotfl:

Hi OnlyRoz, you might find some advice on the MSE Parent Club forum. It's a bit quiet right now, but there are plenty of parents lurking who may be able to offer advice having been in the same position. You'll find a few familiar faces over there I'm sure. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1162063&page=61

Feeling less emotional now thanks to working on my self-employed accounts (yep, that'd do it) and am pleased that on current predictions I'll have overpaid. I'll have THAT back thank you Mr Tax Man! Will be a good way of 'saving' for the new LO though!

Cazcoob - don't forget to get cashback on your insurance. I get quite excited about trying to find the best deal and then get some money off it. Think I only paid about £100 for my insurance last year once the cashback arrived!
