If more present wrapping would get you in the mood skinty, I have about twenty more you can crack on with! ;)

Got a few last minute things but not the amaryllis bulbs which is a bit crappy as I wanted one to finish off OH's granny's present. I'm a bit of a perfectionist with presents so feeling annoyed at myself for not being with it enough to get one when I first saw them! :(

OH is now asleep on the sofa so I can't wrap his presents in here! He's got an hour then I'm kicking him out! ;)

Roll on 10pm.. Gavin and Stacey xmas special and the box of Thorntons choc the cleaners at work bought me (boss was especially miffed when I was given those in front of her! ;))

How do I find out about having a private scan done? Any ideas? I don't want to wait until my scan appointment on 2nd Feb as the midwife suspects I may be 14 weeks gone already.
    MERRY XMAS EVERYONE!! :rudolf:

I couldn't wait for my 12 week scan either, so had an early private one. I can highly recommend it, as it puts your mind at rest and you will get a firm EDD then.
I went to Spire Health in Clifton, Bristol - I found them by googling "early pregnancy scans in Bristol", there were quite a few to choose from and I just gave them a ring and asked how much it costs and booked in over the phone, it was really easy. As you are in Cardiff, I shouldn't think you will have any problem in finding somewhere that does them near you. Good luck :)

Gah, OH is now snoring on the sofa! Might have something to do with the fact he stayed up until half four this morning wrapping presents for me..

I've got the xmas eve hamper from my friend to open when he wakes up.. getting impatient! :(

Right, lets get this party started. Finished work for a week; pressies are wrapped; found something to wear that fits over 'the bump'; dvd recorder set; had a little pre-xmas snooze..... think thats about it. Now off to the family pub in Suffolk for a couple of days - all that drink...what a waste!

I'm ready to smack any hands that wander towards my bump, especially drunk punters!!!

Will check in when I get back. Have a fab xmas, keeping growing your little beans - they need less turkey and more chocolate (particularly those big tins of roses - orange and strawberry creams - surely one of our five a day)!!!

  • Evening Ladies,

Just popped on to say merry christmas and I hope you all have a fab day tomorrow!

Just got home from the cinema with Josh and OH we watched madagasca 2 - it was sooo funny, then went for a burger King! Now Josh is in the bath and I have last few presents to wrap!

Night all and speak soon x x x

Well it got to 4:30 and I realised I was still in my pyjamas... Figured it wasn't worth getting dressed... Hubby turned up 2hrs earlier than expected so we bathed Aimee and had a bit of family time, I just did the bedtime story, he helped her track santa online and now he's upstairs doing a not very good job of calming her down for sleep...

Just got to have a clear round in the lounge, remove all of todays mess and drag the squillion presents that are hiding in the wardrobe for Aimee!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Im sooooo shocked my DD6 is fast asleep ... no fuss no arguements... she got santa an apple for rudolph and a satsuma for santa (no mince pies plus she said with all the other mince pies it would be better for him) he still got milk though :rotfl: ... just went to check .. zzzzzzzz so me and bubs are waiting for daddy to come home to wrap the presents together (said we would plus my knee's killing me so the less time i have to spend time kneeling the better) im starting to feel real christmasy yay x
