    Hi All

The boys are playing on a game together, so I have popped on briefly, we are having a little tea party later and then watching a film before the kiddies go to bed. On boxing day I am being abandoned by dh as he is going to a football match and won't be back until about 6pm, we are then going out for a meal....Mmmm the food where we are going is lovely and massive servings too...

Baby has been really hurting me today, he seems to be stabbing me in the side with something and it really, really hurts!!!!! He has done it about 4-5 times so far.

Good news is I only have to work one day next week too, Tuesday, I am absolutely ecstatic. I will then only have 2 weeks left before maternity leave.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE & HAVE A LOVELY FEW DAYS
    :santa2:

Jvic: you can find a scan place by googling for them thats the only way I know :)
for a cold if paracetamol isn't working try cocodamol it is allowed but is obv stronger than paracetamol so try to go with out if your worried.
you can have some throat sweets just check the pack as some say not for preggers
apart from that either break the rules occasionally if its really bad (I think we all have at some point but its your decision) and drink honey and lemon or try sipping a spoon full of honey if throat is sore also drinking milk is nice on the throat but not good if you're phlegmmy

Right off to hospital now! xx

    Thanks Sami,

I'll have a look for sweets on the way home. Anything would be better than nothing right now.

Have fun at the hospital!! (As If!)

  • Oh Jvic - sorry you're feeling rubbish. Everyone else has suggested all the things I was going to say, other than make sure you get a rest as soon as you get the chance! Your body is working harder than normal as it is growing that baby, and it has to work even harder to fight of germs too, so tell your OH he has to look after you ;)

I'm being rubbish today - I keep forgetting quite how massive my bump is, and bashing it on things. Poor baby is going to be born with concussion at this rate!

MW went fine this morning. Everything is normal, just have to wait for the baby to want to come out and see us. I have my 40 week appointment booked (she will come here, hooorah!) and if I want her to, she will do a sweep then if nothing is happening :)

My OH has been great to be fair. Even though he feels rough too he's been doing everything and looking after me really well. He's at home now packing up the car and cleaning on my pet rats ready for a few days away.

Thanks for the advice everyone and all look after yourselves (no more bump bashing ladybird!)

Told ya I was aiming for 3pm! ;):D Hurrah!!

My manager waltzed out at ten past one, saying we had to stay until half three. Then the big boss came through, asked if we were busy and said we could go at two, so we all left together, locking up as we went! :D

Just come home to get changed really - couldn't face Morrisons in my heels! Going out for toilet roll, bread, milk.. and amaryllis bulbs if I can find them!

For those non-comp addicted who are logging off for Christmas (*breaks out into a panic at the very thought!*), hope you have a fabulous, peaceful Christmas! :D

    Back later xx

    Debt-free and Proud!
Jvic I just rest and drink lots of water when I have a cold, and eat soup or toast.

Well we are all ready for Christmas - presents are all wrapped and under the tree, cards are delivered, house is as tidy as it's ever going to get (!) and we are relaxing.

I don;t feel at all Christmassy though!
