Funniest thing I have read on here so far today :D

I'm glad you liked it, but I meant to put "I always knew" instead of "I never knew" so I've changed it LOL

Flyin Fresian does one too (but not as religiously as me).

    Mainly because:

    A) I forget :D
    B) It's quite depressing when it's 20 days till payday and most of the money is gone :D
    C) My accounts have money flying in and out so it's confusing!

If I remember, I do an update in the morning before work, but it's mainly weekly for me.

    Days to payday: 11
    Money in bank: £167.37
    Money in Purse: £7.70
    Grand Total: £175.07

Money spent between 1530 Wednesday and 1600 Thursday £71.40
    £57.00 on petrol.
£11.00 given to DH (his Xmas night out tonight - this is what we 'made' from his mileage cheque after we filled up last night)
£ 0.97 (hysterically because times are hard, my work are not providing us with calendars this year so I had to buy my own!!)
£2.65 - sandwich (very bad, that's two shop bought lunches in two days)
£0.22 - over to penny jar

    Grocery Budget: £300 / £64.58
Petrol Budget: £137.50 / £162.50 / £0.00 (-£25.00 over budget caused by DH having to go to York)
    Bus Pass Budget: £56.00 / £0.00
Everything Else Budget: £250.68 / £110.42 *adjusted because of above overspend on petrol

(made banana & walnut loaf last night which is yummy and now half gone!!!)

  • Ooooh I've just done a freezer inventory and we have enough food for evening meals for 5.5 days worth of evening meals, so a few packets of mince (shepherds pie, Lasagna, Chilli and Spag Bol) and I shouldn't be anywhere near spending £64!!!!!
