Yes, there is about three-quarters of it left. I'm meant to be taking it into work for a bake-off, but I doubt very much there'll be any left!!! Am having a go at making another one today at some point. I have some bananas going black...

Excellent. I see this is the start of a whole new extensive cake repetory. :T:T:T

Money spent between 1530 Saturday and 1310 Sunday: £0.50.
Hmmmm....not sure how I have managed this seeing how I had £8.95 in my purse yesterday and I have paid out £1.50 for the tea-fund yet now have £8.45 in my purse.....Hmmmm...*is baffled*. I wonder if I thought I had given her £1.50, but only gave her 50p? (there was a lot of silver change involved) but I thought she would have noticed.

    Grocery Budget: £300 / £70.51 (EEEEKKKKK!!!!!!!)

    Start Date: 27/11/2010
    Padding: Day 42
    Target £8000
    Amount: £562.23

Days to payday: 13 (on the home straight now, now less days to get paid, than it is from having been paid)
    Money in bank: £208.37
    Money in Purse: £3.11
    Grand Total: £211.48

Money spent between 1600 Tuesday and 1530 Wednesday £2.40
    £2.40 on groceries

However I had a payment of £21.68 paid from Quidco which reached my account today, which is why I have more than I did yesterday.

    Grocery Budget: £300 / £64.58
    Petrol Budget: £137.50 / £32.00
    Bus Pass Budget: £56.00 / £0.00
    Everything Else Budget: £250.68 / £114.90

I decided to put it on the Everything Else budget as I really want to see if I can make my grocery budget S-T-R-E-T-C-H out to last til I get paid.

Also two bits of good news. Firstly, I won the baking competition at work!!! My cake was voted nicest out of all seven entries so I am thrilled to bits! I won a Thorntons selection box! I hadn't known there would be a prize LOL. So, that will spur me on to do some more baking. I always knew there was a Nigella in me, desperate to be let out. (I usually shut her up with shop bought biscuits)

Secondly, bought a second hand pair of Ugg boots from a colleague for (wait for it) FIFTY QUID!!!!! They are genuine and she has bought them for herself and they have been a bit tighter for her than she was happy with so although she has worn them a few times, she's decided she's more than happy with her old favourites so decided to sell them. I got there first. She was almost guilty asking me for £50 but I've got a bargain if they keep my feet warm in the winter at football. (I paid cash for them out of my emergency savings)

Hello there Bloojeans! It's always nice to have another visitor. Flyin Fresian does one too (but not as religiously as me). I can say it's really helped me because I know exactly how much is for me, and how much is spoken for (even though it is still actually in the bank) and does make me think twice about how much I am spending. I just feel bad sometimes about using up this board for such a dull, boring thread but then I think that people don't have to read it if they don't like it, and the number of views goes up and up and up every day so someone out there must like it. I love knowing what other people have spent their money on
