  • Well I'm still getting random bits of sale stuff turning up every few days. Today was a pair of boots for my daughter and a king sized sheet to go with the bedset and pillowcases that came a good 10 days or so ago. Friday I got the last of the towels I'd ordered, a party dress and some sandals.

Happyshopper do you have any proof that the delivery person(courier)has forged your signature, if not it's completely out of order to suggest that possibility.
how is it out of order?? just coz u are genuine doesnt mean they all are. im sure a lot of couriers (for many companies) forge signatures for various reasons.

if OP is told they have 'signed' for said item they know they havent then that = forgery. no 2 ways about it.

my main problem with next is them delivery when they feel like it. if a date is specified i expect it that date, not a few days before. worst (bar my current problem with them) is an order to the bond street store. i go there and they have no order for me on their system... they ask me if maybe i requested another store but i said 'no it said bond street'. anyway turns out they delivered it to the one by oxford street station.

as soon as this 'investigation' is over and i have my interest back, im leaving, way too many problems.

Me too. Pair of trousers arrived today. Still waiting for a chandelier - but they say not to give up hope yet!

My post below was in answer to your comment above, can't see anything proven just your assumption.

    The or threw me Happyshopper!
Great if you could post and let us know what the outcome is, delivery person is a thief, Next messed up, relative staying at neighbours house signed etc etc, the possibilities are endless.

Thank you chuckley for the "ur genuine comment". much appreciated.
OP stated in first post either or must have happened, no proof that delivery person had signed, 2nd post is again only an assumption that delivery person is the culprit because the item has been signed for.
If Next believed the delivery person had signed and taken the parcel OP would be credited almost immediately, so some confusion and some doubt in my mind,
Next are on the ball with inside fraudulent activity and just slighly slower with outside fraudulent activity.

I think we should be saying fortunately we work full time. I know I do. That's great you have that arrangement with your courier to leave with a neighbour or in an agreed safe place, I have with lots of customers or I'd have to send loads of parcels back to the companies, your lucky if you have a courier delivering in the evening not considered safe practice by many now.

I'll have to gamble on perhaps looking like a whinging minnie but sometimes I read everything at once and reply all together so here goes again.

I normally get delivery to store to stop any of the above mentioned happening, except when I ordered from the sale I didnt have the option of store delivery

I wasnt given an exact day for delivery as I could arrange to be home within certain time frames, the courier left a note as I requested but with no name, no number or any contact details. The courier was due the next day not am or pm and it was too late for me to organise a day off work, I called Next CS to let them contact the courier to inform I wasnt going to be there but they said there was nothing they could do and if the parcel wasnt delivered it would be returned

I just cancelled my whole order, approx £600 worth of stuff I had every intention of keeping, imagine all it took was the courier to provide at least a contact number and I would have made arrangements suitable for them

The courier should have left contact details, but with your hours of work 7.45am and dont return from work until 5.30 - 5.45pm, I think the outcome would have been the same.
Next used to be dreadful with their expectations of delivery times from couriers, requesting after 6 pm for an extra 5p(I kid you not).Couriers can and do opt out of the time bands refusing those extra 5p's to have a life with their families.

Slowest year so far of sending my stuff out. Is it me or do all next couriers ring as if your house is on fire?? It drives me mad. Really annoying when my baby is asleep.
  • Sadie sorry if i threw you with my Or , I did get my money back from Next as the courier Did forge my name , Next sent me the delievery note with a signature in my name but i didnt sign it !!( you can clearly see the 2 signatures arent the same ) No my neighbour didnt sign for anything .

It took Next this long because i had to signed 2 letters ( they lost one )and loads of calls and await the Couriers delievery note then i sent them proof i was away and of my signature , iam not a fraud , this wasnt my fault:mad:

After this i did give Next the benefit of the doubt and ordered again.

I ordered a top in 2 sizes just before xmas sale , one size arrived and i sent it back but have been charged for the size i didnt recieve so looks like i have to go thru this again . This is why i said , Next not sending items and then charging me or delievery person forging my signature . As yet i dont know if the delievery person has done it again. Iam awaiting to hear from Next.

This is why iam closing my account when i its all sorted.

No not all Next delievery people are the same and i would never say they was , just pointing out to people to check what they have got and havent and what they been charged for .
  • My bedding's arrived at my friends place today :j

sorry had to have a giggle at this post as I probably ring customers doors like that!! though personally I prefer the knocker and as loud as possible! its probably because they have a car full of parcels to deliver and are rushing to get them all done in the same day;)
