Next are doin my head in! I ordered a lot from them in the sale, they reduced my credit limit and demanded the rest by c card, so I paid and waited. To get an email for the main thing I wanted a large berry rug at only £30 for my new house (with hard wood flooring) saying thank you for your return!:mad::mad: I hadnt even recieved it, i was at home ill so didn't miss any deliverys or letters through the door. I rang next to explain for them to say they didnt know why and would pass me onto someone seanior. Only to be passed to another customer service woman and tell the story all over again:mad:.
She then said, oh that happened to my daughter we have no more in stock sorry!!!!
I asked if they could send it back they said the system didn't work like that:mad:
So I said does that mean if the delivery driver couldnt be bothered to deliver it and sent it back, tough luck for me and she said YES!!!:mad::mad::mad:

I placed my VIP order on the 22nd December on the 5pm slot and spent just over £850  (fo the house, my DH, me and 3 DD's!!) and most of my stuff arrived on the 29th December (16 bags in total!!) and I have sorted and sent any things I dont like/double sizes back the following day. I am like alot of you still waiting for another 7 or 8 things to turn up which were on a 1-2 week delay when I ordered and when I rang Next they told me that these things were still on reserve!!!
As I didnt manage to get everything I wanted in the VIP sale I went to my local store at 5.00am to see if I could get what I hadn't got but only got a couple of things (mostly perfume gift sets) and therefore almost every morning since I have been logging on when I get up (anytime between 6.00 and 7.00am) armed with my list to see if I can get any of them - mostly with no luck!!!
My question is does anyone know what time of the morning Next update their systems cause I remember this time last year that I was able to get quite a bit of stuff I hadn't initially been able to get in the VIP sale about 1 to 2 weeks after the sale started and was hoping to do the same this year!! Either I am logging in too late or no-one is sending anything back this year!! Please help - I really need to stop waking myself up early convinced I am missing out on a bargain!!!
Many Thanks in advance...0 -
I had two items credited back to my account in the last sale- I phoned them and they stated the courier had returned it as she couldn't deliver it - I pointed out the courier was a friend who definitely had never recieved it in the first place - she apologised and said she didn't know why that had happened - personally I think it's something Next do when an item is out of stock. The problem is you then phone up to say you never had it delivered so how could you return it :rolleyes:0

I'm still waiting for all of my daughter's trousers, she looks like she's wearing ankle swingers, winter clothes (that I needed for going back to work), and a bag! I'm a bit annoyed, if I'd known it may take this long then I would have gone and bought them in the shops that were having sales in town!0

I'm still waiting for 8 items that were on a 1-2 week delay. I've returned a fair bit already, but no returns have been logged on my account yet.

It takes about 7-10 day if you done it via courier but within hours if you do it instore.

ive had two items now that have been returned, undelivered, when i have def been at home to receive them. however, when i spoke to Next customer service, it seems there are alot of items going to the wrong couriers, and this is why they are being returned, undelivered
And as you said, when things get returned to the warehouse, they go straight back into stock, no matter what the reason for non-delivery, so you have no chance of ever seeing them again
Ive also not risked doing any returns via the couriers, as ive had problems in the past with missing items, so ive gone instore with all my rejects. All have been credited to my account within a few hours, with Next sending a confirmation email of all returns - so on that front, things seem to be going smoothly. Just a shame about the deliveries

i had two non sale trousers on delay and then noticed on my bill i had been charged for them...
i told them i hadnt received it so they said 'thats odd as on our system it shows u have'. so they resent me them again whilse they investigated. i received these and returned both, they then sent me a letter with all 4 trousers on with 2 different dates saying 'please let us know what wasnt received'... why did they put the new set on when it was returned?!
anyway they are still investigating and charging me interest for the 'outstanding balance'.
will i get the interest back?!
NEXT seem to have a lot of problems of late... sending out wrong goods (ordered ladies size 9 and got baby boots...), not sending out return labels, not sending our couriers when requested twice...
mind u got a parcel slip through door today saying it was NEXT, got the parcel and it was TOPSHOP. HAHAHAHA0
