Totally agree with pesky2. If we can help keep Next's costs down then there is less likelyhood of costs being passed on through higher prices. It is nothing to do with a bah humbug attitude.

Businesses with high costs / debt are the ones going out of business at the moment.....couriers wont have any work if the same happened to Next, never mind a single returns fee :)

next have told me to return 1 item per parcel only as some of my items werent being scanned as returned so it cant increase their costs too much
Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.

It increases their costs....what equates to 'too much' would be a matter of opinion, but must be substantial nationwide. I always use the stores to return goods. I get a printed receipt for each item and it seems to go straight onto my account. If Next have actually asked you to do this then fair enough, but I object to couriers encouraging people returning goods to stick them in as many parcels as possible as this is not due to problems with scanning but a way of milking the system.

Oh deary me :( Been checking old posts for evidence to have a go at a poster you don't agree with...how sad. People have different opinions about things, simple as that.

BTW, got about half of my delivery today, so pleased overall :)

Not sure I understand your point, I am just saying that people have different opinions. Hey Ho :)
  • Please please please tell me Next womens sizes are really dodgy!! I just tried on a pair of jeans & a pair of trousers in a 12, the trousers I can do up but are tight & the jeans have no chance of fastening!! I will die if I've gone back up to a size 14
I'm sure they are - for years, without fail, I was a 12L in trousers. Now I'm either a 12L or a 14L -- and, although I've put a bit of weight on since an operation, I still fit the old trousers that were 12.

I'm normally a 12l or 12xl, but having to return a pair of 12xl skinny jeans after giving up trying to get them on...not even sure i got them past my knees. I know skinny jeans are meant to be tight, but it was just rediculous-glad no one saw me trying to get them on....must have looked a right sight.;)
