surely they could be traced back anyway? there would be no benefit in doing this? i can't see this happening with the parcels having to be signed for?
Not really - my courier out them in my shed (I was in bed:o ). 7 were marked off the list for me, but 2 of them were someone elses. I rang and left a messsage when I realised but she returned in the meantime as one person only had 1 package and it was in my shed.
Possibly I may receive the missing 2 if someone has let her know today but if someone has kept quiet then I have lost out

Ordered two (one in each size) and I've received one and the other item..............wait for it............. is a chandelier!!! If I hadn't wanted the runners so much I'd see the funny side. So if there's anyone out there who's received a chocolate brown hall runner instead of a chandelier, get in touch. (some of you are tee-heeing aren't you :rotfl: )
i ordered a table runner couple of weeks back and a kids mobile light was delivered instead lol

No we don't have to, unless Next ask for proof of delivery which isn't very often.Originally posted by Bumbles2
Are courriers supposed to get signatures? My guy didn't ask me for one today?
We don't if we know and trust the customer!Originally posted by michandjack
Yes, they usually do. He was maybe soooo busy he had a mental block
Hey kiddy guy do you work for Next? bottom level perhaps collecting those returns at warehouse.Originally posted by kiddy guy
Yes,Can I just add that anyone returning items does not put them in as many bags as possible to increase the couriers numbers of parcels. Increased parcels = increased cost to Next = increased cost passed back to the customer.
Next definitely don't worry about those costs, we're cost effective for them, we probably keep your prices down.

Please please please tell me Next womens sizes are really dodgy!! I just tried on a pair of jeans & a pair of trousers in a 12, the trousers I can do up but are tight & the jeans have no chance of fastening!!
I will die if I've gone back up to a size 14

Scammers and non payers are the cause of any extra costs and Next sale shoppers are the sensible ones, not paying the ridiculous prices through the year.Originally posted by kiddy guy
But surely, and given that most of the shoppers on this thread are Next SALE shoppers, any additional cost indirectly passed back to the customer surely defeats the purpose?0 -
perhaps he's the lorry driver picking up all the returns I've collected:DNo we don't have to, unless Next ask for proof of delivery which isn't very often.

I had 7 missed calls from Christmas day until yesterday from a customer(I had tried to deliver on Xmas Eve),they left no message.
I phoned this morning no reply, then texted, they just replied to say they really wanted their parcel on Xmas day cos it was a prezzie, they would have been happy to collect from me on Xmas morning.

Totally agree here. My courier asks me to put stuff back into as many bags as poss, but i dont as increasing next costs.0 -
