2 month agos i swtich my landline provider from BT to talk talk as they were cheaper..
on my order it only said unlimited evening UK and international call .......
then a week aoigs i received a free router from talk talk. thinking it was sent by error i rang them up saying that i have already an internet provider with which i am happy with and i don't want ot change. the guy on the phone told me" don't worry dthe router are free keep it it is a gift !!!!! " so i though odd but then if they are not interested in me returning it back then their loss. the guy acknowldege that iwas not a package etc.. only for a landline phone that 's it....
i am/was within my O2 contract everytihng was fine with them until today when i realixze my connection was down and could not connect after i called O2 technical team they couldn't help me and suggested that i call my current phone provider. so idid thwen i realise than talk talk has set up a broadband connectin wothoout even asking me first if i was interested or not.
when i rang up talk talk an fuming they said i was not able to cancel my broadband and i said why i haven't even orderd it in the first place !
so i don't know what to do about it ?

Complain to Ofcom that your broadband has been slammed, and you want it returned to O2. http://www.ofcom.org.uk/complain/internet/isp/other/
Also complain here www.talktalkmembers.com and ask for Broadband to be returned to O2 at no cost to you.0 -
with jhp, both ofcom and ttforum, nobody in their right mind would deliberately change from O2 to TT, so you have a caseUtinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0

If Talk Talk slammed you its up to them to help you to return to your previous supplier and cover any costs for doing so.It want do any harm to tell O2 that you have been slammed, and tell them you want to be with them.
If you post your complaint on the Talk Talk Members forum ,this usually gets a positive response from their online complaints team.
Complaining to Ofcom helps as they have quick access to Talk Talk high level complaints team.0 -
I have been with TalkTalk Business for a foew years. I disconnectedone line and changed broadband back to other line and the following week was told I was on new 24 month contract. I complained and my complaint was upheld. Today I have received my bill by email - previously a paper bill - only to find that when I try and open it I don't have the relevent software - not sent as pdf - and am directed to a site that charges £5 for the download. I have lodged yet another formal complaint with them. Anyone know anyone cheaper for business phone and broadband and treat you decently.:mad:0

Sounds like you signed up for Talktalk's LLU offering which included "free" broadband.
You can't now get any other broadband provider which is why your O2 connection went down.
If you were within your O2 minimum contract period you can now expect an early termination fee of £50.“I look like Spiderman at a funeral”~ Karl Pilkington0 -
hi declaknd i ahven;t opted for fro talk talk LLu my order shows that i have only taook landline phoen and in the contreact there is no mention of broadband.
Talk talk told me that they knew i haven't order it and told me that as myphone line was able to get braodband then they though i would like to have "free broadband" !!!!!! i told them that i didn't want it !
anyway i hve called O2 they wil cfontact em back to say if they can reinstating me . i have called OFCOM too , they want them to write a letter for complaint to them before it goes to Otelo if i am not happy with TT resolving my issue.
a I repaeat once more i had no idea that TT were about to change my ISP and i had never requested it !BSC number 1830
