• I have used ibootsale and it's not bad really. Sold a few things on there that hadn't sold on eBay, it's handy as well as you don't have to keep relisting what hasn't sold! I wouldn't expect loads off it though, I might have one or two sales a month. But as you say, it's free:beer: so always worth a shot!

It's been mentioned a few times over the last couple of years, and has a decent enough reputation.

Like all ebay alternatives, it has nowhere near as much traffic, but is growing with every contraversial eBay announcement!

Hi

Initially you get a pitch where you can list 25 items for free for 90 days. If your pitch is full you can request an extension for a further 25 items free and then yor items are extended to 180 days, it seems you can do this over and over at the moment for free.

Can anyone tell me how the list of 25 items is accepted. Eg. if I start off by listing just 10 items, can I list another 15 items at any time in the 90 days regardless of whether I have sold any?

Also when I do sell an item, can I then list another one to make up the 25 items maximum again?

Any advice appreciated, thanks
• Hi ih8stress

Welcome to the thread.

Yes you can list your 25 items 1 at a time, until you reach 25. You don't have to do them all together - so your pitch may have, say, 10 items to start with and then you can just add more when you want to.

If I remember correctly when 1 sells you cannot replace it directly. Unless you get your pitch to be 'advanced', then you can. So if you sell 1 of your 25 items then you will only have 24 slots still available.

If you apply (just by asking the site administrators) to become 'advanced' then when an items sells you can add a replacement and have 25 again.

I find the admin guys very friendly and I have an advanced pitch with 150 items now.

Great site - very simple to use

Thanks for your reply, numberthree.

I hope to list a few things tomorrow, have already registered but still completing photos and descriptions of things.

Incidentally, have you sold anything yet?
• I have sold around half a dozen things since I joined about 18 months ago. :j

Please don't be put off as the stuff I have listed are items which did not sell on feebay.

I am now abandoning feebay and hopefully I will sell a few more bits on bobs on Ibootsale and Ebid

Good luck

I have just listed my first items (20) on ibootsale and would like to say how impressed I was with the ease of it all.

It took me a QUARTER of the time I used to spend doing it on Ebay. There is just one photo that hasn't materialised (which I intend to deal with later), other than that, pretty plain sailing!

Now all I have to do is wait for the buyers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
