I don't think anyone was horrible? I take offence at your comment. All people were saying this is the grabbit section and yes everyone feels bad for the staff. But your remark "it's not all about getting a bargain".............well, yes it is i.e. moneysavingexpert.com - shopping - grabbit!
No one as far as I could see was mean about the staff losing their jobs!!! Yet again, you have put things into perspective!

Well yes they doI especially do when someone tries to make you feel guilty about people losing their jobs, when this section of this forum has absolutely nothing to do with that, all people are here for is getting a bargain!!! Yes, it is tragic that the staff could be out of work at this time of year but should I feel guilty, or have someone try to make me feel guilty for wanting a bargain?!

Very unlikely any decent electrical items will be left, but your best chance will be at opening time as many people will be looking for these same items.
Would be nice to read comments tomorrow about bargains at Woollies.

I cannot believe what I am reading. Do you really not want people to say that they feel that you are all acting like vultures when this is such a sad time for many people.
It's not just the 25,000 people that will loose their jobs. It's all of the small towns and high streets where Woolworths plays a key part. What will this mean for the other businesses already trying to compete against the huge superstores.
Go out at 8am and complain about only getting 50% off a Toblerone....I hope it bloody chokes you. This site is about saving a few quid but it is possible to save money without lowering yourself to the vulture like behaviour I have read on these boards over the last few days.
I apologise to the large group of people that have contributed to this thread in good faith. I am aiming this at the select few who have shown absolutely no tact or morals in their quest for getting something cheap.0
