I wish I could get there early but I have to do the school run first, typical! And like some others have said, I wasn't impressed with their so called up to 50% sale. I love a bargain and I'm not scared in parting with money either and I came away with absolutely nothing. I hope when I get there tomorrow there is something worth getting.0

I was in Woolies and left there at around 4.55 pm. About 5-10 mins before a Manager was standing at the front door, not letting anyone else in and saying the store was shutting at 5.
The young lad who was serving me was in a bit of a panic, wondering why the shop was shutting at 5 instead of 5.30 - it appears no-one had told them what was happening so on the way out I asked the Manager why they were shutting early and she said they were having a meeting.
How sad that I knew before the store's staff.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time0 -

Also encourages some people to buy things that they dont really need.0 -
I'm sad woolies is closing. We dont have much in our town, but it was great to say to the kids,
"Lets go for a walk up to Woolworths you can look a the toys and if you are good you can get some pink n mix to walk back with"
I really dont think WH Smith or Boots will have the same appeal:(0
