We have 3 stores within reach, one closed today and was empty the others close on 2nd and 5th jan...they are saying UP TO 70% off now but most stock is still 50%.

Got a high school musical scooter for 9.99 and some kids dvds like thomas and dora and in the night garden which i did want anyway for 4.50 each and hubby got a few xbox games for under a tenner too.

Was nice to get some bargains but i did feel a bit bad for the staff-hope they get new jobs soon.

Ours closes Jan 5th and yesterday had stuff still at 30%. Given that at 50% the stuff would still be expensive compared to other stores.....when they gonna learn!

Ours closes 5th Jan and everything has been 50% off since boxing day, maybe its up to managers when they apply discounts.

Was in my local yesterday and this very loud, rude chavvy couple wanted a refund on a toy they got in the 3 for2 offer! Manager explained no refunds just exchange the guy got very agressive and right in the managers face yelling being very confrontational so all the young guys at the tills had to go and back up the manager and ask this customer to leave which he wouldnt so they called the police to get him out.

This chavvy guy still in the store then got out a fag and lit it up instore! I couldnt believe it! How rude & nasty this customer was & I felt so sorry for the staff!! SOme people are just evil imho

My small local store closed yesterday. Everything was 70% off, but seemed to work out more, when I got to payment desk. Was told to go back to get a few more cards as it was 10 cards for £1 and I only had 4 (some were over £3 on their own). Pink 1gb Mp3 player for £1.50, 4 cans of diet coke for 50p, Huge pick and mix container kids got for £1.20. Party dress and shoes for neice £2.60 in total. DH got several cds. Nearly everyone was wishing the staff good luck.
  • I was in my local store (closed yesterday). 80% off everything and some deals including all school clothes 50p.

Got a virgin liberty sim for £2.99 - includes sim and a voucher for 300 minutes 300 texts. Down from £14.99
