Was in my local yesterday and this very loud, rude chavvy couple wanted a refund on a toy they got in the 3 for2 offer! Manager explained no refunds just exchange the guy got very agressive and right in the managers face yelling being very confrontational so all the young guys at the tills had to go and back up the manager and ask this customer to leave which he wouldnt so they called the police to get him out.
This chavvy guy still in the store then got out a fag and lit it up instore! I couldnt believe it! How rude & nasty this customer was & I felt so sorry for the staff!! SOme people are just evil imho
I would have intervened and gently put him on his backside or should I say restrained him untill the police arrived.:D
Just by the front doors so everyone could see him aswell.0 -
well there wasnt a huge amount left in peterborough this morning, the posters were a bit confusing too, outside the poster said 50% off everything, the inside there were sections that said 30% off0

Our smallish local Woolies closed yesterday.Up until 3p.m everything was 80% and then the Manager went round with 90% off signs. Have to say the mood was rather subdued with customers queuing quietly and many of them passing on good wishes to the staff.0

The Same at my local branch in haslemere, around the same time, i know a few people that were working there and they let me in on the times that the % would increase. In the end they did a level basket for £1 It was crazy!0 -

It's not just woolies closing down this sort of thing happens in. Try working in a public library. We probably get this kind of person at least once a day. Just because they have been told they can't use the internet without a library card.
Sorry for hijacking the thread :whistle:0 -
