You are right. I just checked and it left on the 12th. I had presumed it had left on the 11th as I had set it up on the 10th. Thanks.MFW 2015 - #88 £3,345 / £3,500

Quick question to all. Where in our online account does it say the interest rate on the account!? I know I have it @ 6% but its nice to see clearly written somewhere!0

I just logged into my account and it doesn't mention the intesrest rate anywhere. I have noticed that the anniversary date has changed from the 11th (when I set the account up) to the 17th (when they got my money from A&L). Apparentlly the rate drops to 5% tonight, so I got in just in time.MFW 2015 - #88 £3,345 / £3,500

Reading back through this thread I noticed that the rate changed from 7% to 6 % on December 11 , it is now December 18 and it's down to 5%. It will be down to 3% by the end of the year if Halifax carry on in the same fashion."When the Government borrows, the citizen has to save".

It wouldnt surprise me at all. Im doing my best to secure rates now to avoid problems early next year.0

I accidently got my standing orders mixed up this month and have accidently sent a second payment into my regular saver this month - the rules state only one payment can be made each month.
Does anyone know what is going to happen to the money from the second standing order? Will Halifax refuse it and will it simply be returned to the account it came from? They won't close the regular saver will they?0 -

Made my first payment on 11/12/08 ,just before the rate drop ,shown as anniversary date, plus SO went through today making £500 in total for the month."When the Government borrows, the citizen has to save".
