Hi everyone,
Done my ironing for the day and just sat down for a few moments, baba was awake every hour last night so we didn't get much sleep
Got a joint of beef in the ovan roasting as we speak, and just looking on the net trying to find cheap set books for a course. DS1 has got his swimming lesson later. I put microsoft works on the lappy the other night and it has loads of stuff on it like recipie cards and cleaning scheduals (saves me starting the diary on fly lady) so I thinK i'm gonna go through that tonight. Got to do some dusting, the hoovering is done.
Must remember to buy ink for the printer in town today. Think thats all I have to do, thank god.

Hiya everybody,
I'm about to hit the sack. I've had a really really lazy day today. Must get my finger out tomorrow and get motivated. I did go and mowed half the lawn this arv. It was 5pm and still so humid I gave up. I think it's this relentless humidity day after day. It starts to wear you down. Had a busy day yesterday though. My sister gave me this huge pumpkin. Made a double batch of soup, it's in the freezer, some Pumpkin Chutney in the SC. Never made it before, turned out well & cooked & mashed some for the freezer. Still have half left.
Happy Birthday Jo. Enjoy your day. Hope you get to buy the SC. Hugs to all those who need them. Squeaky, what a nice idea. Anyway best be off. I need my beauty sleep.:DDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -

Afternoon all,
Wow, its a fab day outside, have got 4 lines of washing out, lovely & windy with a bit of sun. Have decided to get cracking with the garden aswell as there loads of leaves everywhere on the lawn that need shifting so DD & I have got the wellies out ready but will still need to wrap up. I love it when we can spend loads of time outdoors as it makes her sleep really well at night and we both love it.
Later have got a parent evening for DS at school, first app is 7.05pm so its Lamb cassorole for Dinner tonight which is already prepared and ready to go.
Enjoy the rest of your day and take care

Fiannly took the bull by the horns today and complained about one of my co-workers. Bit reticent about this as the last time I told one of the "glorious two" off they didn't speak to me for a month and that included not passing important messages on to me (and I'm the secretary and they're receptionists). Well, now they aren't speaking to me again - well I don't care, I'm leaving on 3 feb and I've made an official complaints about their attitudes to staff and patients and the number of patient complaints I have about them (Mr Rage has even been stopped in Asda by patients who are our friends and they've moaned about them and asked him if there's anything I can do about them!!!) So, I don't care if they don't like it - not very OS I know but I guess being assertive is quite OS!!!! Apart from that Mr Rage met me for lunch with sandwiches (corned beef and lettuce thanks for asking) on HM bread - he then muttered about putting the BM on again - don't know what's come over him. He went to the dentists today - he's still NHS  so it cost him £5 but he's still managed to go o/d at his bank on 4/1/06 so now he's got charges -which will end up being paid out of the joint account.......... he did say today that he thinks the time has come for him to "get his finger out" and that he'll "do anything" (although the list of household chores I leave obviously isn't included :rotfl: ). I think we should have an e-bay blitz this weekend and see what we can flog - I have loads of x-stitch kits and some avon stuff from last time I was a rep. Tea tonight was going to be cauliflower cheese but unfortunately we used all the cheese sauce last night to make a very thick pasta carbonara  so I will have to have a think when I get home - probably end up being pasta, pesto and salami. AND TONIGHT I WILL BE WATCHING CELEB BB - I know, it's trash and I have not watched one since the very first ordinary one but I caught a few minutes the other day and have been hooked - the combination of Michael Barymore, Pete Burns and George Galloway is entrancing!!!! We even stayed up 'til 1 this morning playing connect 4 and watching it.............. sad......................But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green0

Hi everyone!
Hectic morning at work this morning so am just chilling before I do the school run. All floors washed and dark wash drying.
Nothing major planned for this evening. Have been taking myself out for a 45 walk every evening for the past few weeks partly in an attempt to get a bit more exercise and also for a bit of me time. Am really enjoying it and come home feeling really relaxed but also energtic. Apart from the cost I never was one to don Lycra and break out into a sweat!!
Think I'll probably dig out my cross stitch tonight whilst watching the family tree programme on BBC2.
Am making cowboy sausage bake for tea tonight and hope to try out my BM recipe for marmalade cake within the next couple of days.

Afternoon
Not too much done here today.
SIL came but was very upset as she'd had a barny with her DS and we spent alot of time talking, but she did the blinds and took ironing with her home and will be done fridayShe's going to come back on friday and do a few jobs as she couldnt of done much today anyway as she was in such a state.
OH went into town and did a few bits that needed doing. He picked up some deli coleslaw from M&S that was reduced and a sandwich for a treat- a runners fee i think  (he loves chicken and stuffing  )
Ive managed to list 34 items ready for the 5p listing day tomorrow on ebay-so hopefully that will bring a little extra cash inFound some towels that were still tagged from Debenhams at £8 each-so instead of sticking on ebay-Ive put in me pressie box..just incase they can save me a pressie later in the year
...well it all helps...LOL
Had our elctric bill come in this morning at £155 for the quarter  so have called them and asked to pay by DD, which was supposed to be set up when I changed to themand my DD is £61pm  and my gas is £50  so combined £111 pm  As we are in 24/7, I suppose its not that bad, but will be interested to note electric useage now im not using the TD..we will see. Prices have also gone up 14% in the last 3 months across the board...its disgusting isnt it.
Lunch was left over HM Lasagna from the freezer and dinner will probably be pie, mash and veg.
Going to get OH to sweep through for me as there a few bits over the floor.
Will call in later.

Must be something in the air at workplaces as it's hell at mine. Got threatened with demotion by my HR manager yesterday because I refused to work my 39 hour contract over 6 days instead of 5. She told me I had to do it. I spoke to the union rep who "reminded" her that legally I am entitled to have 2 days off. So she throws a strop because she got caught lying. Her canteen clique keep throwing me daggers now.
My OU stuff has arrived. Course doesn't officially start until Feb but I want to "try" and get a head start. :A I'm doing an astronomy course and I got a really cool star chart with it.People keep asking me to predict their future though.
I emailed the education department of my union about the grant for the courses I did last year. Not only will I get £65 for each of the two 30 point courses from year, they have started issuing grants for 10 point courses and I've done lots of those. So I shall be getting more money than I thought. :T :j
Car is getting repaired and the mot done tomorrow. So it had a good clean while I was at work today. Maybe if looks like it has been well looked after he won't go looking for more problems. :rotfl: It's an old banger, but the way I look at it is I will get another year to save up for a newer car. (Picture)
Am eating homemade italian tomato soup from the soup song website. Never made soup before. Found it really relaxing cooking it for 1.5 hours, and tastes yummy.
((Hugs)) for those who need them.
Anyone watching Lost tonight. I know what's in the hatch !!!0
