Morning everyone....especially JW1096 who is celebrating a birthday today.
Happy Birthday to you JW!

Today is another work day...really wish I didn't have to. It's mad busy at the minute unfortunately. I have exams next week and can't have time off to study - they have a dreadful habit of keeping things to the last minute then springing them on you.

Breakie - porridge (already consumed)
Lunch - soup and some nice bread, yoghurt and fruit
Dinner - hmmm, dunno. Poss pasta of some variety. It's a college night so no time to cook properly before going, and too late to eat a meal by the time I get home.

No other news, hope everyone is well.

    Morning All

    Happy Birthday JW1096!

Started training for the half marathon last night and I've come to the conclusion I'm completely unfit, and if I do this it'll be a miracle_pale_ Don't have any sore muscles, but trying to regulate the breathing is a nightmare.

Got some bargain sports wear yesterday, joggy bums were £40 I got them for under a tenner, and a jacket thing, was £40, got them for £20

Back at work, where I'm really getting stressed. I can't go into why on here, but it's really getting to me. If I had the money, I'd leave the way I'm feeling right now.

    Had a terrible night's sleep

Hope you're all doing better than me

    Happy Birthday JW

Not to bad a night  Had about 5hrs kip which is good for me. Feeling lousy though and have bad tummy cramping and not even that time of the month

WM on and again will be dried on the airer. Toilet cleaned. DW only a third full-so wont need to go on till much later. OH is making some pizza dough in the BM today as he's run out of bases in the freezer

Im supposed to be at therapy today but will see how i am as I just feel completely wiped out.

SIL coming today and she'll do a few jobs round the home including all me ironing for the week :D blinds, wooden units, fridge and fireplace.

DD is next to me on sofa playing with my phone and OH still in bed as his back is still quite bad. Her packed lunch is all done and she has a cheese sarnie, yogurt, banana, pear, raisins, biccie, crisps and watery squash.

Personally, not doing much today if not going to therapy (need to store some energy)as I have a busy day tomorrow at the hospital and having me hair done :j

    Breakie:Bacon Sarnie
    Lunch:Baked Spud
    Dinner:Pie, mash and veg

    Will call in later.

    PP

    Morning All,

Big Hugs to SCUZZ, you sound so unhappy, hang in there. We are always here for a moan ;)

    Happy Birthday JW

PP, hope therapy goes well if you decide to go. xx

Blimey its cold today, I've put the heating on, something normally reserved for evenings. Stupid warm air heating, it doesnt keep a constant temp going and I have to fiddle with the thermostat the whole time its on. Cant wait for the new place with rads!!! And being able to dry my washing on them, YAY!

Am supposed to have a driving lesson at 9.45 but dh hasnt left me the car seats for the 2 youngest which means I'm going to have to cancel as I have no-one to watch them. So thats £18.50 down the drain

Got to get somel aundry put away today, its all folded and upstairs but sitting in piles rather than wardrobes. BM needs putting on, am dreading the smell of that lovely bread as am not allowed it.

Off to browse, have a good day all,
    AL.

Have been up since 1am.. Spent whole of yesterday sleeping on and off :o Cos was lying on the sofa from about 3pm after id had my job interview and was watching river cottage dvds...was so relaxed just kept nodding off! Slept right through tea time and everything! :rotfl:

Small list of things to do today.. going to have quick clean and tidy up putting stuff away and washing dishes etc... need to ring jobcentreplus to sign on... cos even if i get a weeks money its £44 in my pocket! I should have done it when i found out id be sacked but between xmas/new year and being ill.... and to be honest not wanting to admit i was having to claim JSA AGAIN! :o ive been putting it off!

Going to view the house at 5:30pm! Am excited... specially as i logged on to the estate agents website last night to double check the postcode to run a couple of checks on the place ;) and i found photos had been uploaded!!!! :j

Is it the type of house i was expecting as it is on the estate my friends is.. and is actually identical inside even down to having the same kitchen wall tiles! :rotfl: Sorry to do this but im so excited im gonna post the pictures here :p (No location details are obvious from these so its ok :) )

This is the front of the house:

    :j :j :j

Breakfast was bacon + egg butty
Lunch: Might have a salad + jacket spud

im hoping so!!! Gotta go tonight for the viewing but my mind is made up already as i love it!!! (like i said ive seen inside my friends who is identical and its virtually on the same block by the looks of it!) Just hope my housemate feels the same but hes easily pleased!!! Then its just putting in the application tonight/tomorrow morning and hoping for the best!!

It only come on the market on friday and we rang on monday for an "asap viewing" so hopefully we'll be one of the first to view and no one else will have been to it and been able to put and offer in!
  • Hi everyone!

Happy B-day Jo! Have a great day !!

JD - glad you feel more positive today!

Johanne - house looks really cool!

Scuzz,PP,Snowy and Kiwi - hope your days go well

Not sure what I'll be doing today, either hiding at home or something else equally interesting. Sill not talking to OH, why do men never admit thery're wrong when they've hurt your feelings?? (sorry to all the decent men out there). All I get is "ok so I hurt your feelings, but what about that time...blah blah" so not really admitting he's done anything wrong? Oh well, just being super sensitive at the mo. I'm findind it hard to deal with the boys arguing all the time as well. To top it off, I made dinner last night then OH came home an hour late and didn't touch the food!

Anyway, hope everyone has a good day xx

    Morning all

    JW - Happy Birthday!

Johanne - good luck with the house.

    Scuzz - (((Hugs)))

PP - hope things get better for you over the day ((hugs))

Kiwichick - Thats the sort of thing my OH would do as well.

Go to scoot now, DD is a calling from upstairs. Why does she want to be so independant all the time except when she's getting ready for school?

    Morning all

Happy birthday JW, Johanne - good luck with the viewing - it looks lovely. PP glad you managed a better nights sleep. Scuzz - chin up - get looking for a new job.

House is silent - it's bliss - DD's off to school, DH off to work, WM going, dusted and hoovered all through, beds made, bathroom's had a wipe over and washing ups been done. Bins are out, recycling too, kitchen floor's been swept and clean rugs down.

I've now got 13 mins before my first little one of the day arrives, off to playgroup this morning so no mess to tidy up until after lunch! :j

Brekkie - cereal and fruit all round
Lunch - DD1 - left over turkey pie from last night, DD2 baked beans in a flask, DH - turkey and mayo wraps. Me - fruit (I'm being so good)

Dinner - Not thought that far ahead - will go root in the freezer in abit.

I'm feeling very "alive" at the moment - don't quite know what's got into me but I like it.

Hope you all have a good one.
